There is no such thing as ghost bullets. To balance hand cannons with other weapons like scout rifles, there has to be an accuracy/range fall off. Hand cannons are supposed to be close to mid range weapons while scouts are mid to long. If you ever used thorn in year one, for an example, as long as you had good aim you could hit anyone from across map. It was a scout rifle. To balance it out, hand cannons have accuracy bloom. This is where the accuracy is less the farther away you are from someone. The bullet doesn't vanish, it just misses because its outside of its intended range. Now some hand cannons are better than others. The more range on a hand cannon, the better off you will be. This is why the palindrome is a new favorite. This also goes for fusions and shot guns. So, maybe there is a better way of balancing yes. Bungie said that they will look into it. Just know there is nothing wrong with them right now. ( Plus hand cannons are all i see people use so they cant be that bad)
