Gamestop purchase Rise of iron, entered code into xboxone and it gave me MS credits of $34
I purchased the game at Gamestop Rise of Iron and entered the code into the redeem code box and it gave me MS credit of $34 and if I go into the game of Destiny and enter the code again it says this code has been entered already. I called Xbox and they said that I would need to contact Activision or Bungie to fine solution . your help and feedback would be grateful

1 ReplyUse the credit to buy the RoI standalone from the dashboard →Xbox store → search for Rise of Iron. There are two, one is part of the bundle, ignore it. Buy the other one. I did two days after release and got the preorder bonuses as well.

Ya I cant buy it either. No option to anywhere. Ive tried everything possible. If I select the ROI dlc its says either unavailable or available as a bundle only. The only way I could get it is by buying the digital collectors edition for 40 bucks. Im not about to do that.

It's a Microsoft issue since it is a Microsoft code.

Gamestop was never given a direct code for Rise of Iron on Xbox. They were given one for Playstation, so those on PS4 bought a 29.99+tax code that would download the expansion automatically. Preordering Rise of Iron for Xbox was preordering currency, so you still get the preorder bonuses but you don't have to put your credit card directly on the Xbox for it. If you pay for something that is an even amount (XX.00) then it's currency. If its XX.99 then it's the expansion. All you have to do is go into the Xbox store and purchase the expansion with the currency they gave you.

Go on Destiny and click on that yellow diamond and purchase it there using the $34. This happened to me to me as well and that's what I had to do

I believe that is how some gamestop stores do DLC sales, so it is a problem with Gamestop.
