Shoulder charge is terrible
Why In gods name is shoulder charge so terrible now and why was it nerfed in order to ready up an other shoulder charge you have to wait for the animation to end then run again to get another one started my main problem is it doesn't even track anymore it's like when it didn't register half the time in ttk. Also trials is going to be hell on small maps now become of juggernauts then people will complain about that then that will get nerfed and strikes will just half no descent last slot options

Because Bungie constantly changes things in the game to make people play more diverse. That's what they do. Meta changes are a constant in Destiny.

3 RepliesLet me reiterate something to you. Shoulder Charge was used by EVERY TITAN. EVER. So, they nerfed it a bit. Stop complaining. You have Perigrine Greaves and that can make you one shot supers. You also have fist of panic AND glowsticks that do a crapload of damage to ANYBODY!

Bungie and the community hates Titans that's why it was nerfed. Class was considered fine for 2 years, finally started to gather steam and then they ruined it's most defining ability.

It was shoulder charge not a rocket lifting off. The tracking was soo wonky.

The tracking was too much. I got some dumb kills with it. Like jumped over their heads then warped down from mid-air and obliterated them dumb. The timing nerf was apparently due to one of the new artifacts potentially synergising too well with shoulder charge, to the point of being OP. Not sure what to make of this latter point. We shall see when the artifact becomes available.

It wasn't really a valid strategy to run 'round shoulder bashing people. Sure, you'd catch a sniper sleeping or get a clean-up kill with it but I don't think it was OP. When I used it it was usually a last ditch effort thing, and typically got buckshot braces instead of a kill. A couple of days ago I rushed for a pile of 3 crests when around the corner an enemy was doin the same, he was in the sweet spot and activated the charge. I just brushed gently past him and got a double-ought enema for my trouble.

The big kick in the pants will come when instead of understanding people call you names lol. Git Gud or crutch player. No fun allowed around here. This is a very serious video game after all. Do what I do, use it in every way you can just to smile when you still make people rage from a broken ability.
