Can't purchase RoI
I have been trying to purchase RoI from the PS store for the last couple of weeks now with no luck. Originally I thought it was a PlayStation issue so I've contacted and basically talked to everyone in their customer service team about 7 times now. Today I was told by a customer service manager at PlayStation that the problem lies in a licensing issue, and not just with the licenses that PlayStation has tied to my account but also with the ones that Bungie has tied to my account. PlayStation has removed all my destiny licenses from my account thinking that it would allow me to repurchase them through the store, but this didn't work. According to the manager I spoke to, Bungie still says that I own these licenses and until they are removed I will be unable to buy RoI and repurchase the other destiny DLCs.
I'm not sure where else to go to try and get this issue fixed. I've been a loyal playstation and bungie fan, playing the alpha and beta and all the following destiny related DLCs for the last two years, spent countless hours grinding through the game to collect everything I've ever wanted. I was really looking forward to playing RoI with my friends and to prepare for the new raid but unfortunately I've had to sit on the side line and just listen to how awesome it is.
the only real solution PlayStation customer service gave me was to make a new PSN account and purchase all the games for a second time, and start fresh. I'd really hope that I don't have to let the two years I've play this game go to waste.
any ideas or ways to get this issue fixed would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

1 ReplySame here on xbox. Oh, and don't tell me to click the cinematic and click purchase. That doesn't work because all I get from that is error codes. But guess what? The Rise of Iron bundle but NOT the Rise of Iron standalone digital download is available to buy. Bungie wants me to pay $50 for a bundle because they refuse to make the $30 DLC on its own available on the store? I never believed everyone saying Bungie is greedy, but this just shows that Bungie really does not care about the customer. Making the bundle buyable but not the dlc... That's just pathetic and as low as it gets.

11 RepliesI'm having the same issue but on Xbox One. I really need a fix for this because I don't want to spend anymore money (I bought a card that gives me the money I need to buy Rise Of Iron). I am not looking into buying Destiny all over again!

For Xbox users download the Xbox one smart glass app and you may be able to download/ pay for just rise of iron without the other DLC's

I have the same problem and more over i can not buy the game an other time trougth destiny game... Bungi e ? Playstation ? Somebody try to help users or not because we are not so much ? Vaxeimim

I'm having the same problem I entered the code gave the store credit and I still buy the game. This is a stupid problem to have bungie needs to fix this problem fast!!! And Microsoft doesn't help either because nobody at Xbox knows anything

first remember when you purchaced ttk , second check your bank statement (if bought on line to make sure that payment for the ttk went through ) third check your licence expiry date of ttk ( what happended to me my licence expired 5hrs after release of the ttk ,my payment did not go through , I had money in my account but for some strange reason it was never taken ) forth if your licence had expired chances is your payment never went through , but for some strange reason it still allows people to play the ttk content . five if licence had expired for the ttk chances are that you will have to pay for the licence (that's what I had to do ) in doing so should allow you purchase the roi and good luck

I have a similar issue on PS4, I bought the collection with the taken King disc and installed with my previous PSN account, however, now I have a different PSN account because the former was set up for Mexico and I'm in El Salvador so I could not do any digital purchases... Now I want to buy RoI and it says that I don't have Taken King... But I do... The disc is in the PS4!!! Don't know if it is the same issue but now I can't play much on crucible because almost everything is locked out for RoI users :(

Also, if you want to know what I've been dealing with in regards to Rise of Iron purchase issues, feel free to check the above link. There, I have gone over quite a few other issues that mostly plague Microsoft users, but can also do the same to Playstation users. First thing's first, the issue with Bungie Licensing. The only thing that I can think of that does this is your link to Bungie.net. Try to unlink the accounts for now and then try to repurchase. This can easily be done in the settings page of your B Net profile and just as easily undone. However, if you have any site-exclusive emblems like the Shield of Legends or From Here, the Stars, I would do some digging to ensure you will still have them even if you are no longer linked to the site since those are very rare and almost impossible to get. If this issue persists, let me know and I will see what I can dredge up on the issue. EDIT: Just found this post made by a Bungie Moderator. I'm having similar problems for RoI on the Xbox One. The Xbox Games Store (and everything you could think of) does not sell the add-on on its own. I really want to play RoI, so this situation is unfavorable.

6 RepliesIf the problem continues DONT make a new tag and start fresh. Delete the game off your console, goto the store and buy the digital collection (It is 60$ instead of 30$) But you wont have to restart fresh :)!
