Zyde the Hunter part 1

When I was a boy me and my family lived within the walls of the city. It was when the darkness came and the walls were defenseless that would be the worst day of my life. My father was a designer at a weapons manufacturer "Tex Machina" a name that takes pride in there work. My mom was a mother of two and a culinary professional, she took up volunteering at the vanguard for the cafeteria, said anyone can help contribute to make this place better. My sister disappeared after she graduated her homeschooling, mom said she was into some weird things before she left, as if she completely changed. I never really understood it she was always with her sports group, then she was studying all the time with these people, that in my opinion wore too much black and white clothes, anyways I never got an explanation for why she disappeared. I don't think my parents ever told me the truth about it. But other than that life was normal for me , I'd say I was the average kid within the city. Except for my dad all the kids thought I was so lucky because my dad... people like him create masterpieces for Gaurdians of the light. Although alot of us have never even seen a Gaurdian, never had to until that day... I remember that day feeling bizarre from the beginning, my father got called in early said they had to speed up the contest they were hosting. The look on his face was stressed, but in his line of work it seemed normal. So that day was like every other day I got done with my studies and was daydreaming out the window I remember the sky had a very unsettling eerie red tint. My mom had a sparrow readied witch I thought was strange because we always took the trams. But the vanguard wanted to take precaution I guess because of the increasing sightings of fallen nearby, said to be slowly but surely increasing. My mom was calling my dad telling him being at work isn't right at a time like this. That worried me a little I tried to ask her what's wrong but she told me to go to my room, so I did. Then a bulletin went off on the local speaker line saying all gaurdians report to the wall and stand fast for duty. They already told titans to be at there posts on the wall it was very clear they were preparing for the walls to be breached,  then my mom came into my room and told me to quickly grab some things we were heading to the safe zone I saw she was wearing the hand cannon my dad had got her. She never liked it so I was shocked when I seen it on her hip. I asked her what about my father, she said he was meeting us there so I grabbed the blade my father gave me and my bag and I start to notice the ground shaking and it was getting stronger my mother was shouting for me she grabbed me and we were making our way to the door. At that point the shaking was insane and then I hear a loud break in the floor and it was a big loud machine tearing through the dirt and stone. Behind it was a fallen reever captain with a bunch of reevers, me and my mom continued for the door even faster then all I could hear was their arc rounds flying through the air hitting the door almost hitting me and my mom and we finally make it outside. When we get there we noticed they weren't the only fallen that made it into the city, there were fallen squads all over the place I was terrified we hopped on my mother's sparrow before the fallen inside got to shooting at us again and she gunned it out of the sparrow block we were approximately 5 miles away from the safe zone but it felt like eternity. As I was on the back of the sparrow I saw the fallen tearing the city apart, people running for their lives, one fallen squad even managed to crash there giant drill through one of the trams and then I start to notice these little floating lights starting to appear and then... I saw one a Gaurdian they were rushing from the walls to defend the city. I thought it was pretty crazy because the wall is about 15 miles from the center and even with our head start the guardians would've beat us there. The Gaurdians were ferocious aside from all the impressive gunfire retaliation, the arts they practice are amazing that's when I realized truly how powerful the light is. But I feared it was too late. (Let me know if you guys like my short story and I'll put up part 2 thanks.)
