This is not a Mediacom issue ... I had two other buddies run into the error and they don't have Mediacom ... what it is is the update sent to playstation had an error in it and some people where able to get past it and then you have us the ones who are suffering from the error.. playstation told me it will either fix when bungie resend them a new update or when the store resets on Tuesday .... so be patient and stop saying it's Mediacom or Sony... bungie knows it's their problem!!!

To be honest this thread was made because I think not even Bungie knows what is going on. I have been trying to find a common ground with everyone coming here and one factor seems to be the ISP. Now unless you work for either company it would be safe to say that anything could be the cause of the issue. If it was something simple then it would be fixed already. I am here to help everyone find a solution to the problem not criticize people for having a theory about the problem. I would just help instead of saying thats not the problem, If you know the cause of the issue by all means let us know until then try and be a little proactive.

I have contacted Sony 5 times in the last 24 hours. I was just trying to think outside the box a bit it seems like this issue could have been avoided if Bungie didn't bundle everything when a new DLC drops.

I agree completely, the last guy I talked to from Sony actually is having the same issue we are so i would imagine if it was on Sonys end he would be telling them and they'd already be on it and having it fixed as quick as possible... regardless I feel if we wait it will be solved sadly I don't think it will be solved in time to be able to play this weekend...

We do know that Bungie will have to put out another patch on Friday for the raid. So I don't see this being fixed until then. That's as long as there is nothing wrong with that patch.

I hate to say it (cause im on yet another Destiny binge) but there are other games to play in the mean time. I really think Sony is just telling us what we want to hear. Hopefully everyone gets a chance to play soon.

Have any of you ran into any other game corrupting after this because I tried downloading rocket lg and it says it's corrupted !!! Kill me lol dang you bungo

Same thing happened to my Fallout 4 it says corrupt data around 90mb into the download. Other then that ESO The Division and a couple other larger file games have downloaded no problem.

Maybe has something to do with the new update last tuesday that added HDR and the menu change. I did notice something earlier if you uninstall destiny and go to your library to redownload from your purchased games section, you can hit the options button on Destiny (while its not installed) and act like your going to delete it form the purchased games screen. No other game does that, go check it out real quick.

Yeah I saw that to and actually deleted it but it did nothing when I did it.. and I was wondering that to this is why I hate having game updates right after system updates something always can go wrong

Yeah just imagine the guy that flubbed up the code, how many people they affected today including businesses like Mediacom and Sony... I'd hate to be that individual.

You know Mediacom is lived with Sony for getting all these calls and complaints ... As well if this is a bungie mess up Sony is heated for all the refunds they have handed out

Just went to mediacom got brand new router and had them open the ports that sony gave me. It did not work
