Well that actually goes back to the parents. A lot of parents complain to the school and the teachers about their children having not being able to do the work. (I'm excluding people with real learning disabilities of course)
A lot of teachers would love to have students learn at their full potential, but between politics and parents, it's next to impossible. Unless you enroll in a private school but even that isn't a garanteed ticket to a great education.
Edit: Also, schools need to add more classes on lifeskills and make Home Economics a required course. You'd be surprised how many Straight A students don't know how to use a Washer/Dryer or stove after moving out for college.

I am enrolled in a nice private school get good grades but my parents want them to give me more homework even though I get 2-4 hours worth a day. I really hope this pays off
