It's because it's day one of the first new content release in a year. It's just crowded. After a few days the players will spread out more and it should be better.

Most major releases experience heavy loads at the release date. It's too costly to purchase the necessary systems to handle that kind of traffic. It always seems like a good idea to build a 20 lane superhighway during rush hour, but when you look at how much it's going to cost, it becomes less of an issue.

This still makes no sense. This isn't wow were you can have hundreds of people in the same area. The tower caps out at like 16 people. This shouldn't be a problem.

I had issues yesterday because of the load on the servers. I had no problems this morning. Be prepared for the standard "check your NAT" type of response.
