Severe Sound Loss! Please Help!

I originally had posted this under the "Feedback" tab on August 30th. Here is what I wrote: "So back in June, I purchased the TTK. I was playing out the first mission on Phobos and as soon as I encountered my first Taken enemies, the audio began to lag. Sometimes gunshots wouldn't be able to be heard, and the sounds of my Supercharge wouldn't be heard until 10-30 seconds after I had pulled it. I couldn't hear enemy noises as much as I could before I got TTK and the sound of a previous felled enemy would throw me off. For a long while, I thought this was all apart of the Taken "effect" since I only noticed it when I fought them. But last night, I reinstalled Destiny onto a new hard drive since the other one was seriously corrupted. As I was playing a bit of Crucible the same night, the sound lag had increased as well as a significant amount of sound had been lost. Not even Lord Shaxx spoke. This happened in the Challenge of the Elders as well (though Variks spoke a lot more than Shaxx did during the Crucible). My fireteam and I played CotE about 3 times consecutively and each time I would hear little to no sound. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance." Note(s): I've noticed that semi-automatic guns (I'm not sure about heavies) don't have sound when I fire them but automatics somehow do. Everything graphics-wise seems to be working fine but it's just that 75% or more of the sound-not music-has gone away. I've tried reinstalling Destiny numerous times (most recently on Aug. 30th) but nothing seems to change. The Destiny I play with now is a digital copy from the Xbox 360 games store but I originally had (I still have it) a physical copy which I preordered back in 2014. I had bought the digital copy recently (end of August) because I didn't know what was going on with my disc since it wouldn't start up and would give me the "Can't start game" and "Please clean with a soft cloth" message. I had gotten a new hard drive and reinstalled Destiny onto it and it fixed the problem with Destiny and another game that had a similar problem. Should I try putting in the disc and see if the sound will come back with that one? Please help!
