We may feel unwanted, obsolete, but let us carry out our duty to the Last City with the same unflinching courage and relentless determination that has carried us to this point. I can remember the Black Garden, the place of Pujari’s dreams, the place whose blood red flowers reach into both the future and the past. I remember traveling through that labyrinth of timeless technology, the sound of our boots against the ground shattering the ghostly silence with every step. I remember feeling light, as if nothing I was experiencing was real, like a dream that you grasp desperately to remember when you awake, but every effort only seems to cause it to waver and fade. This place was not a place for us. We should not have been there. But our Light drove us forward, allowed as to forge further into the place that so desperately wished to devour our strength. I remember the hordes of Vex machines that swarmed me and my fireteam as we fortified with burning lead our positions atop the sync plates. I remember our cheers of triumph, the first of many, as the glowing spire of light unlocks the great gate, its cold, metal maw open wide for us to enter, promising a war ahead unlike any other. As we stepped through that gate, we knew that entry would be the first trial of many more, and we steeled our hearts and minds for whatever might lie in the depths of Venus’ surface. I remember our plunge into the darkness, how we'd each stepped over the lip of the bridge one at a time, how the air had grown colder and colder as we fell into the pit. I remember the swarms, the unearthly screams of the Thralls as their hooked fingers reached desperately for our armor, our cloaks, our weapons, starving for our Light, their single and only purpose to drag us deeper into that veritable hell, to leave us withered, unsalvageable husks. I remember stepping through that cursed portal, how the blood had frozen in veins as cold washed through me, my mind and body being deconstructed and reformed, over, and over, and over, finally to be discarded by the edge of a great, endless abyss. I remember gazing out over the great expanse as my friends appear by my side, each of them getting to their feet, a silent confidence falling over us as weapons are checked and loaded, as we set our minds to the trials before us. The Court had only been the beginning. This; this is where we will be pushed to the very limits of our abilities, of our knowledge, of our newfound grasp of the Void, of the Storm, and of the Sun itself. I remember how the greatest of enemies have fallen before us. How we tore Atheon's fingers from the flow of time, allowing its surface to settle once more. How we slew Crota with the very blade that he, himself, gifted to the most trusted of his warriors. How we released the Solar System from Oryx's grip, freeing the minds of those that he'd Taken.I remember how we’d ripped the Black Heart from its seat of power, how we’d purged the Garden of the Vex’s corruption, how we’d allowed the Traveller to begin to heal. But now, a new enemy has reared its head, and it is our responsibility to prepare the new Guardians for the coming battle. To all of you that remember the same battles and struggles that I do, rally with me now, and help teach these Iron Pups to become warriors as we all are!

Ive played this game for way to long. Who remembers the first Christmas noobs? Who remembers how bad the first Iron Banner was? Who remembers that the only way to get to max level was ONLY RAID GEAR (fuk boots)? Who remembers traveling to and from the tower multiple times to change gear? Who remembers when Thorn was trash? Who remembers pushing Atheon, and the Templar getting pushed off the ledge? Who remembers 0_________________0? There is more stuff, but I wanna stop typing :p

Been here since September 12 2014. My bones ache. I've been reconstructed by my ghost too many times to remember. Completed Summoning Pits Nightfall in under ten minutes, Fist of Havoc'ing Phogoth to death. Arc burn I love you. I thought "what a waste of a heavy slot".... "WE'VE AWOKEN THE HIVE"! I know we've awoken the Hive, they're all over me you stupid ghost. Pushed the Templar, and laughed as we did it. If you had Icebreaker, no matter what you were doing "everything would be alright". Including spending an hour sniping Sekrion to death on a nightfall, on my own, behind that damn rock. Growing old waiting for Rockets McDickface to die. Never has an enemy of the light sponged bullets like he did. All these things and more, are lost to memory now. You can find me under the tree in The Tower. If you see me, give me a kick to make sure I'm not dead.
