When a game costs you over $100 to be able to play it *cough* destiny *cough*

Being on internet communities, I just enjoy gaming, while also developing games as a hobby. But most of the time it seems that enjoying a game is wrong. I never really have any complaints on games, mostly because if I didn't make it I'm not really worried about "what could have happened".

Edited by Zonda: 9/19/2016 4:45:08 AMActually never mind, the true cancer of gaming is developers forcing games away from Split Screen despite the fact that consoles can handle it; they're basically saying you have to pay extra money to be slightly less social than what you can do with a 10+ year console lmao
Inb4 'muh fov'
Unfinished games that are still pushed out by a certain release date, despite being borderline unplayable and/or having next to no content.

Edited by ProvingVirus: 9/19/2016 2:57:21 AMhttp://m.neogaf.com/showthread.php?t=1005508 The publishing side of Bethesda and Zenimax. People tend to like Bethesda for their games, but what often goes unsaid is all the actually evil business practices their publishing side uses. An example of what these practices are can be found in what happened with Obsidian and Fallout: New Vegas. To paraphrase the situation, Zenimax promised a payment bonus if New Vegas got an 85 or higher Metacritic score on release, Obsidian asked for a delay to bug test more, Zenimax refused knowing exactly what this would do to the game, the game released in it's incredibly buggy vanilla state and doesn't get the 85 meta-score for obvious reasons, and Obsidian gets -blam!-ed out of the bonus. Obsidian obviously ran into financial issues because of this, and Zenimax came dangerously close to buying them out and, for all intents and purposes, ending Obsidian. Thankfully, Obsidian managed to make miracles happen and got funding through Kickstarter. You can get mad at Activision and EA all you want, but at least they don't try to screw people out of their jobs.
