Some things to consider. 1) You're never the ONLY Guardian in orbit, are you? Why not see occasional jumpship traffic pass by whenever we're in orbit? 2) I'm honestly tired of the mohawk my Warlock is sporting. Hair isn't a permanent feature, why not change it up here and there? Let's break this down: humans can change hairstyle/color and face paint. Awoken can change hairstyle/color and eye color. Exo can change eye and mouth light color, and face markings. Somehow, Guardians should be awarded red Engrams that can be taken to the Cryptarch, who then decodes it into either a primary weapon, special weapon, heavy weapon, helmet, chest armor, gauntlets/gloves, boots/greaves, Sparrow, or Jumpship. But here's the interesting bit- it's not an item. It's an empty blueprint. This engram- say you get one and decode it into a primary weapon blueprint- allows you to design and name your own primary weapon; you can submit multiangle concepts for an auto rifle, pulse rifle, scout rifle, or hand cannon to Bungie, and they put it in the game with stats and attributes of their choice or what seems fitting for this gun. Then on the next armsday (or weekly reset or whatever fits for the engram that was designed), they give this new weapon exclusively to the designer. Weapons and gear come with Reforge/ Twist Fate and are able to Infuse.
