Never understood why they haven't made a console full version that incorporated all the lands, all the monsters, and a legitimate endgame.
That would be a system seller, make Nintendo relevant again, and Pokemon would literally take over the world.

When asked about such things, the developers have a simple response. If you can create more pokemon games with the same general look & feel and people continue to buy then in the millions everytime, why fix what isn't broken? They do not feel the need to take on such a project as what they are doing still pleases people. I would like a full-fledged mmo experience. Where the pokemon are just walking around doing their thing instead of random encounters. Combat system that actually plays out like battles in the tv show. The ability to make your own groups or just joinable factions. The ability to make your own gyms. Etc.

That's the point I always think, but it does seem to have less success. It's costing more money to make the games and they are making less in a more inflated economy than it was in 96. They are still making enough but I think they are realizing they need a change soon

Simple. They're lazy

Do I need both kidneys?

It has such a good idea behind it, I really hope they'll do an open world and do something more mature. Hell even just making the fights different or real time would be huge
