So can anyone tell me why I should use a sniper anymore? Or play on -blam!-ing Xbox for that matter? A sniper is for precise long range engagements and to counter enemy player advances. If used extremely well you can use it at a close range effectively (only the best players out there can do that consistantly. Of which make up less than 5% of destiny's community.) the nerf to damage I can -blam!-ing get. It doesn't feel good to get shut down after popping your super. And yes it was rather relatively easy to kill someone who was peppering you with their primary. But this drastic nerf to the flinch resistance is making me not want to use the weapon class at all (cough cough fusion rifles) yes it should take skill to land a shot while Being peppered but you shouldn't have to be the best player in the world to continue doing it. The slightly above average player should still be able to get a good shot off. The class of player stated above has no reason to use a sniper anymore. Why get better with a class of weapon that honestly doesn't serve a major roll anymore. Can't snipe most supers. 80% the time your still not going to hit your shot simply bc they put one round into you. (Of literally anything) Using a sniper, as the average player, is the worst experience you can now have in destiny. I can honestly say that I'd rather use anything else besides a sniper. Cause now everything else is more consistent/reliable in comparison. (Even fusion rifles, and after what you guys did to them, that's sad.) Also not getting the year two ps4 exclusives that we were supposed to get is relatively annoying, but the only good thing in there was the iron banner armor any how so I can't harp on that too badly I guess. (Except for the strike. That's actually quite annoying. I just want the -blam!-ing ghost in the strike for the lore.) But in conclusion, thank you bungie for the awesome patch and continue to make me feel like I have to play the game bc I spent money on the new dlc already... Next time do the major patch and then announce the new dlc. Bet you'll see a difference in that dank profit margin.
