[b]1) Gear & Guardians from Destiny 1 should be carried over.[/b] I know some people are going to object to this, but we've spent way too much time on these guys for it to all become meaningless when the sequel drops. We've grown attached to the characters we've created and the weapons we've used, it's not something we should be forced to just abandon. Some say it'll give people from Destiny 1 a game breaking advantage over new players, but we could easily fix that by rendering Destiny 1 gear inaccessible until certain criteria is met by the player. This way, while Destiny 1 players are fulfilling that criteria, the new players have a chance to get gear of their own in order to compete. [b]2) Free Flight in Gunship.[/b] Remember playing Halo Reach? Long Night of Solace was probably my favorite mission purely because of the spaceships we got to fly. It was fun as hell, but way too short. I'd love to have areas of space (in orbit around a planet, floating islands above Mercury, maybe in deep space, the reef?) where we can just fly around and shoot stuff. Maybe we could harvest asteroids for mats like in No Man's Fail? We could even have SPACE RACES! The possibilities are many with something like this, and it would be great to finally have an actual use for the ships I've spent ages collecting. [b]3) City Free Roam.[/b] We've been overlooking this sea of concrete, roads, and lights for so long now...it'd be a shame if we never got to see it up close. I'm sure we've all thought about it at one point or another. Heading downtown, mingling with the citizens, grabbing a bite to eat, watching movies from the golden age, getting hammered in a way that doesn't involve fire. We should visit the city at some point, maybe that'll inspire us, you know? It'll show us what it is we're fighting to protect.
