First off, let me say I know the odds of it coming at this point are slim, but I wanted to write it down anyway. Might be added later if Bungie likes it enough. Honestly I'm surprised this [b][i]ISN'T[/i][/b] a thing yet, but I think a Grenade Launcher would be a pretty neat addition. I think it should work similar to the one in reach (in how it's fired), where it will launch a projectile that has an arc, so limited range, and as long as you hold down the trigger, it won't explode. It could also have an indicator for when someone gets close to it so you can know when to let go. However, this would probably not go over well with the community because 'camping' so add a timer to how long it can be held (say 10 seconds). The grenade launcher could come in three types for the each element: The solar grenade launcher would launch incendiary grenades, so they would case a burn effect, though this burn should last three ticks, five at most. The void grenade launcher would launch suppression grenades, so it would disable supers, grenades, and charged melees. Again, this shouldn't last very long, just enough to be annoying. Perhaps five seconds. The arc grenade launcher would launch flashbangs, blinding you briefly. I feel the blind from flashbangs is already in a good place, so can just copy that effect. The blast radius of each should be strongest next to the grenade with diminishing returns until you're out of the blast radius entirely. Exotic versions of each should be available, much like the swords, which will increase the distance that grenades can travel, increase the blast radius, increase the amount of time you can continue to hold the trigger before the grenade will automatically explode, and increase the time the effects last. Regular grenade launchers (minus any armor piece that gives extra boosts): Rate of Fire: 30 Impact: 80 Range: 35 Stability: 60 Reload: 45 Magazine: 3 Ammo Capacity (PvE): 15 Ammo Capacity (PvP (So from a Heavy Crate)): 6 Blast Radius: 5 meters Exotic grenade launchers (minus any armor piece that gives extra boosts): Rate of Fire: 30 Impact: 90 Range: 45 Stability: 60 Reload: 40 Magazine: 3 Ammo Capacity (PvE): 15 Ammo Capacity (PvP (So from a Heavy Crate)): 6 Blast Radius: 7 meters Thoughts?
