What is your opinion on religion?
Do you belive that some people can be more likely to follow a religion based on their brain's unique structure, or is it entirely based upon their upbringing and consious dicisions?
What is your opinion on homosexuality and the like? Do you belive that it is a mental anomaly, or just a result of a person's past experiences?
Sorry if these questions are a bit silly. :P
What is your opinion on religion?
I am an atheist.
Do you belive that some people can be more likely to follow a religion based on their brain's unique structure, or is it entirely based upon their upbringing and consious dicisions?
I do not believe religion to be biological. I believe religious ideas to be a result of conditioning and indoctrination by parents and communities a person is born in (why we see religious ideas=demographics on a map), and a fear of death, and a fear of punishment for not believing (ex: hell). It can also provide comfort to people who do not really care about the scientific and true nature of our reality. It allows them to believe that they will live on forever in happiness. No true answers are coming from books written thousands of years ago that have been proven wrong again and again throughout history.
What is your opinion on homosexuality and the like? Do you belive that it is a mental anomaly, or just a result of a person's past experiences?
My personal opinion is that I wish more people were homosexual, there are too many humans. As for a biological difference or experience based, I cannot really give you a definite answer. I would lean more towards biological because there is homosexuality seen across a multitude species, not just humans.
Sorry if these questions are a bit silly. :P
You are fine. They were more philosophical than psychological, but I certainly so not mind. I hope I answered adequately.

You did, thanks, Smart Guy! I'll try to give you a more scientific question. Um... Can depression be cured by will alone? Or is medical intervention sometimes absolutely nessecary? That one might be just as bad as the others. Let me know.

I can't really give a definite answer on that. All cases are different.
