In 2015 Bungie Updated rumble so that the top 3 players would recieve a win. That is how every free-for-all game mode has been in every other video game. So why has Bungie changed rumble back to only the No. 1 players gets a win. And if this wasn't on purpose then why hasn't it been fixed yet.
Now i will preface this with the fact that no, i am not a stellar crucible player. I have an average of about a 1.3 k/d. But when i play 28 matches of rumble in one day, and only place first 3 times, but place top 3 nearly everytime. Only 3 rumble wins go toward my grimoire. that doesn't seem right. In an IGN stream back in 2015 the Bungie reps said that they wanted their players to feel like they accomplished something with their time. The only thing i accomplished was 4 hours of crap rolled legendarys that is simply dismantal fodder.
I can understand why we now have to solo cue, that makes sense. what doesn't make sense is us not as skilled players being put through the hair-pulling, controller-slamming nightmare that is winning a rumble match. In COD the top 3 win, same as Halo, Gears and virtually every other shooter that tracks wins for free-for-all, EXCEPT Destiny.
Confused as to why rumble is this way i looked into it. I came upon a reddit post of someone who managed to complete rumble after the 1 winner was in affect. It took him months of playing multiple hours a day just to get the grimoire. Playing for 4 hours straight in any game should net you more than 3 wins.

They changed it so a top 3 finish would count as a win for bounties and quests. It has always been top 1 finish for a grimoire win
