Just a question regarding the combat. When shooting an enemy does the game just snap from enemy to enemy and you cycle through your colors to match the right one?
I believe I've heard there is an option to turn the aim assistance off but will that make the game way too hard and detract from the experience?

You manually activate lock-on and stay locked on as you hold the trigger. Let go of tigger, aim, then reclick to switch i believe. Self aiming isnt too bad but i wouldnt reccomend it. Just artificially increases the difficulty in a game where one combo will kill you. Color switching is not a pain at all and btw another thing they dont tell you in trailers is there are purple/green/orange enemies as well. So it doesnt work forever. I noticed blue works better on green targets than red though. But to come full circle lock on IS A MUST in reguards to orb tearing. Even with lock ons things can move so fast that i still sometimes end up latching the wrong enemy and get punished even killed for it. Oh and enemies like to dodge and move at times so lock on can delay

For the hybrid cores( green, purple, orange) they take more damage from the 2 colors that make up their respective color (purple takes bonus from both red and blue, for instance. However, if you shoot them long enough with one color, their health bad will become purely the other (shoot a purple core enemy with red, his health will eventually turn blue and only be damaged by blue then). This can flip-flop several times on bigger enemies.

Hmm i didnt know this. Most of the time i just use white color. Now though i have a maxed out duncan (atleast his limit for his level) and he pretty much destroys in combat
