You cancelled your pre-order because something wasn't immediately fixed?
Ok...
1. First off they need to replicate the issue. I've only seen it at the end of the Alak Hul strike.
2. Once duplicated, consistently, they have to find out what happened and write a fix for it.
3. They have to submit the patch to both PSN and Xbox before it can go live.
4. Sooooo, slow down bud, eat a Snickers, you're not yourself when you're upset at Bungie.

Only correct one is 4. It's sad you think it's acceptable after 2 years to randomly introduce a graphical downgrade and not have an open discussion with their community. There is no fix promised. It's not really being treated as a bug which is what bothers me and others probably the most. Other game developers are much more interactive with their communities and quicker to respond to such issues. You say little money but we are going over $200 now for my Destiny experience. I was a tester and provided feedback. Are our voices really worth nothing? Thanks for the bump. Keep the conversation going

See, you get it. That's the thing 99% of the time with Bungie and its community... Yes we get irritated when they break something and we know a fix will come. But they just freaking remain so radio silent about it, it's infuriating. It makes you question the intentions behind it.
-
It's sad that you think Bungie would downgrade their games graphics at all. If what you are seeing is wide spread then I'm sure it would be classed as a bug. You honestly believe Bungie stealth nerfed their own games graphics?? Come on man! Incredible. Tin foil hat, etc.
-
Not saying it's a conspiracy but the evidence speaks for itself. I'm not the only one who had this problem so dont act like it doesn't exist
-
I'm not saying it doesn't exist but in the course of gaming history bugs in games are found, reported, replicated, fixed and patched. The community has reported it, Bungie is at the replication stage...it takes time, I'm sorry but it does. You're, of course, entitled to cancel your pre-order for RoI, however, doing so will not speed up this process, at all.

Edited by OnTheRise: 9/12/2016 7:54:33 PMMan I hate all this fail logic. My argument never stipulates that my cancellation will fix or speed up the problem. That's the conclusion you've drawn from your own messed up head. I'm just voting with my wallet. If Bungie reads this and sees an alpha player who spent over 2 years of his life dedicated to a game that will leave over communication and quality control issues...that should bother them as a company. Not because they lost me...OnTheRise, I'm nobody. But because they are losing other players. Bungie is a business. They make a lot of bad business decisions. Keep the conversation going

There's a contradiction in their somewhere but I can't be bothered. Have a good one bud.
-
I'd be happy to discuss it. Take care though
-
In all honesty, the Alah Kul strike boss area might have a dust or fog effect that comes across like it's film grain. Might not even be an issue...
-
No, it's an issue for me throughout the entire game except when I am flying down to a planet.
-
It's everywhere though
-
Not on my Xbox One it isn't. And that misty film grain effect has been at the end of that strike for a while.
-
I have it on the Xbox one, it's somewhat annoying. That's about it.
-
Now you're going to make me go stare at my TV tonight after work...
-
It doesn't happen everywhere, but when it does its crappy. Makes me feel like I booted up my 360 instead of my One.
-
Edited by WitStik: 9/12/2016 8:40:34 PMFrom speaking with my clan those with 4k tv's seem to see it everywhere. Doesn't seem to show as much on most 1080p tv's.
-
Well hopefully Bungie can re-create the bug and fix it quickly for all those affected.
-
Glad you don't speak for everyone
