I agree, I am so looking forward to rise of iron and I too saved a gold bounty on each of my 3 guardians. Not because I wanted to level up quicker next time as I thought the bounties wouldn't really count but more so for the 25 legendary marks.
I had already hit lv5 on my guardians and didn't need to cash them in, as I would imagine was the case with every other regular iron banner player.
I am disappointed that we were not warned of their impending removal as I too would have cashed them in.
I hate they the marks are now lost as I see no real way for bungie to access who had what bounties to reward with the marks.
Maybe bungie should bite the bullet and reward everyone who hit level 5 with 30 marks as recompense. Just rewards for the loss a lucky bonus for those who lost nothing.

Edited by Powermix24: 9/10/2016 12:34:48 PMBungie does not want you to have 400 marks (200 Max + Iron banner +Trials bounty marks) , going into RISE of IRON . i know it sounds stupid but there must be a good reason for it . Lets wait and find out .

Ok....so why did they not take away the trials bounties that give marks as well? If they don't want players to have more than 200...

The reason is quite simple. It's the same for why Bungie chooses to nerf weapons in PvE for PvP "balance." They've lost touch with their players.

Bungie was out of touch with players before they released "Destiny". They make great game mechanics, but danged if they know how to manage a game.

Rubbish, they have been telling us to prepare for months. If they hadn't wanted us to hoard then they should have made it clear after the last iron banner All bounties must be cashed or lost. Nothing hard about that.
