That is a good point and I can accept that if it was a E3 or PAX or impromptu interview like that. You know how Deej did those at some of the events recently.
Since Game Informer had exclusive rights to these interviews I would hope....hope...that they were given a copy of the ?'s before hand and the Bungie/Activision publicist reviewed them and all that stuff before the interview. I would hope they preped for the interview....hope...key word...or assume...
We will never know how all of that stuff transpired.
If bungie issues an apology for miscommunication I'm sure the user base will be forgiving for the mistake. We all make those. Unfortunately the stance seems to be right now..."sorry, suck it up or f#$% you deal with it" that is going to make everyone more mad.
I would even accept it if someone gives another interview or stream where another bungie rep. says this is where we told you we were taking them.....that would be proof that these guys just made a mistake or if bungie didn't want to admit to that then they could say this is where we told you they would be gone and these guys were just being vague not to give too much info.

My personally I take these interviews and stuff for what they really are, interest generators and hype builders. If you take the prelaunch info as law you can expect to be dissappointed. I have learned this now not just about destiny but video games in general these days. Because of that I think I'm more able to just enjoy the game and the community for what it is. AWESOME! And I am willing to look passed "mistakes" like this especially considering how quickly the game evolves and how it seems to becoming something new everyday in a way that few if any other games are!
