I'm pretty sure you are incorrect sir/ma'am.
-
No, just no
-
If I was in that position I would have pulled the trigger. No regrets, have to MOVE ON
-
Holy shit a legitimate argument about this lmao
-
Someone's gotta try

The life of a gorilla is more important than a toddler stupid enough to fall into a gorilla pit.

You need to do some serious evaluating of what you think the life of an animal is worth to that of a humans in that given situation
-
There are BILLIONS of us. Not even hundreds of thousands of gorillas...I think.
-
So if it was you in that situation, you would be ok with that gorilla killing you instead of them shooting it to save your life?
-
It was a child stupid enough to try to go in there, with a mother Incompetent enough to let it happen. Also, what kind of question is that? Self preservation over preservation of a species? There would have to be a guarantee it wouldn't be in vain.
-
So you haven't done something stupid in your life that could have or did get you hurt? Something that just a moment of oversight by your parents allowed it to happen? Plus the zoo does have some of that gorillas sperm saved so it could be used for future breeding to help save the species. All the animal experts and zoologist, people who work with animals everyday and actually know what they are talking about came out in defense of the zoos actions

Based on pure speculation and hopeful thinking, a tactic that hopefully before it's too late you will realize does not work in the real world
-
That fact that harambe is dead and you are alive is not justice
-
Says the kid with the name of Gustav
-
Naming and shaming is against the holy CoCk
-
>Derek Pfffffff
-
You do realize who Gustav was right?
-
What? If he really wanted to kill the kid, he would have done it in ten seconds. His death is not justifiable.

Edited by Heathen_Nature: 9/6/2016 8:45:39 PMIf you were there, you couldn't have told what that gorilla was going to do from one minute to the next. One minute everything is good then the next he's beating that kid against the wall or maybe he's fine for five minutes then he beats him or does nothing. Bet you would be singing a different tune if it was your kid or a member of your family in danger
-
If it takes more than 30 seconds for a zoo hand to get in there and handle the situation (let alone 5 minutes) that staff member, his manager, and the person who hired him all deserve to be shot
-
Do you honestly think a person who weighs lets say 200lbs at the most can do crap against an agitated Silverback alpha male gorilla? Plus the zookeepers called for the gorillas to come back to their holding area that they are kept in when they are not out in the public area, all the other gorillas returned except the one that was ultimately killed
-
Do you honestly think in a zoo full of animals that are capable of mauling just about anybody that they don't have tranquilizers?
-
Edited by Pesky Moth: 9/7/2016 6:55:21 AMTranquilizes don't work instantly dude. That gorilla would have been PISSED after the first dart and in 1 second he could have ripped that kid in half.
