Blade sucks in pve pretty much. Mostly because the other classes can do what it does better and more.

I have a topic on this, and you'd be surprised the number of people who object and defend Bladedancer. You'd think they'd agree and try to get the Subclass fixed, but no.

Well in relation to other subs, no it doesn't really need a boost. It's good for ad clearing just like storm caller and sunbreaker. My argument would be that all 3 of those need boost in damage to better take on bosses. My Zhalo super cell can literally clear ads almost as well as a super. So when I use these subs, they're primarily used on bosses and higher armor opponents. My striker shouldn't kill a boss in 1 second, when my sunbreaker can't kill a boss after 10 seconds of hammer throwing. So I wouldn't single it out. But I do belive it should be buffed

You're right about all three being good at ad-clearing and needing to be better against bosses, but I don't think you're taking into account the way the damages and ranges work. and I'm glad you mentioned Striker. Sunbreaker and Striker as not as great for dealing damage to bosses as Defender, but when you've got three Titans I regularly see the third switch to Sunbreaker over Striker for raids. While people used to prefer Striker because of the quick damage and time left to damage by other means, people have discovered that Scorched Earth for the Super actually keeps the damage up pretty well. So it's actually viable against bosses. Stormcaller is also viable against bosses because of its range and ability to chain to any ads that might still be spawning. So it tends to be more useful for Strikes than raids, but I've still seen it in both. And the fact that you can sit and damage with it at range without having to worry about stomp attacks and staying mobile makes it all the more useful. It's a very diverse Super. Striker and Bladedancer, however, are the only two truly close range supers in the game, and like you said, Fist of Havoc does all the damage in 1 second. Which means it also doesn't have to worry about ground stomps as much, as Strikers can Hit and Run, so to speak. Bladedancer is therefore the only non-viable class for PVE against bosses because by the time you start to do a larger amount of damage you're incredibly likely to already be dead. It has the two worst range and damage limitations. Now, you can run Razor's Edge if you want, but that doesn't deal quite as much damage and uses quite a bit of energy. The one thing it had going for it Year 1 was invisibility, but now that Nightstalker exists with Vanish in Smoke, there's not much reason to play Bladedancer.

When I said bosses I meant mostly strike bosses and just general yellow barred enemies. Most supers can't even reach raid bosses. Raid bosses is all about the extended damage supers. Bubble, night shot, and sunsinger.

Edited by eternalazhrei: 2/1/2017 9:16:55 PMFor King's Fall it was very much that way. But for WoTM, Crota, and even VoG in some places, Striker, Sunbreaker, Stormcaller and especially Gunslinger and Voidwalker are useful against bosses. Gunslinger, Voidwalker and Striker can all do massive damage to the boss in one shot then change to other DPS strategies (especially with supercharges on Aksis). Stormcaller and Sunbreaker both have the range to do a substantial amount of damage over time and can be used to slay adds so they're doubly useful. But Bladedancer... I want to see how much damage I can do to Aksis with it, but... without the benefit of Encore I'm not expecting much. And for Strike bosses they're all useful except Bladedancer again. It's a bit more survivable than raids, but it's still better to run with Memory of Felwinter and Frost-33Z.
