LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... Music of the Spheres

This is a project that was planned about 4 months ago. Jafet was in school for the first month after that, then had other composing obligations before this one. This won't be done any time soon. However, here is the Trailer mix that would have gone up on PlanetDestiny's YouTube channel if it weren't for Ryan being insanely busy with other things. In 2012, the composing legend behind Halo, Marty O'Donnell, was tasked with writing music "ahead of time" for Bungie Studios' new game Destiny. While he would always want to write at the last minute, as he likes to visually see what he's writing for, he agreed. He came up with an idea called Music of the Spheres. Music of the Spheres is a symphony, music for the sake of music, which tells the story of Destiny. He got inspiration from concept art and early ideas, walked into Bungie with Music of the Spheres upon completion and jokingly said, "There! Make a game as good that!" On April 11th, 2014, O'Donnell was terminated from Bungie "without cause". (http://kotaku.com/how-halo-and-destinys-composer-got-fired-from-bungie-1728943410) He filed a lawsuit against Bungie and won what he asked for, which was his unpaid wages and a few other things. He founded Highwire Games later on and is currently making a new VR game called Golem. But Music of the Spheres? It was never released. Many fans wish it would be released, and Marty has hope for it. But for now, here is a huge project to hopefully bring us the best audio quality MotS we will have until Bungie releases it. In the court documents from O'Donnell's lawsuit, it said that 40 minutes of the 48 minute suite, Music of the Spheres, was in public domain. Therefore, in theory, anyone with an internet connection could compile it if they tried hard enough. After nine months of work, myself and Tlohtzin Espinosa have found all 40 minutes. An early version I posted was very well received, and Marty himself said it was "amazingly accurate" in an email he sent to me (https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/4a2sfl/music_of_the_spheres_40_minute_edition/) However the audio quality was not good for most of it. Now with the help of Jafet Meza (Transcribed the entire Halo OST), Desiree Bowen (my friend and the Bungie featured pianist), we will be transcribing the entire 40 minutes as the best quality we may ever have of Music of the Spheres, featuring full orchestral sheet music, public MIDI files as well as another 8 minutes based on our own creative visions for the work.
