Crota
I'm trying to solo Crota's End on my warlock and I'm at the boss fight now but I'm having a major problem.
On my hunter I could just use Celestial Nighthawk to bring down Crota's shields but that's a little hard to do as a warlock.
I tried Dragons Breath, Gjallarhorn and the Sleeper Simulant with no luck.
So can anyone recommend a way to bring down his shields?

He used starfire protocol and had his fusion nades with the touch of flame viking funeral combo and 2 nades worked to bring crotas shield down. I did it too. It works. Just don't miss lol. Also yes, telesto works. I do it for thalnok in the court of oryx all the time :)

Try using telesto - you fire 3-4 (your full mag) and it get him to kneel (note light level dependant) Gjallarhorn, tracking rocket launchers from TTK expansion and attachable sunsinger grenades also work. I pop radiance for each kneel stage throw grenades until his shield nearly down, throw 1 more - re-pick the sword and then jump up for the slams. Note: I main warlock - but hunter is by far the easiest class for soloing Crota (and Titan is pretty handy also)

Use Ghorn Where are standing when you hit him with rockets?

2 Gjally shots (upgraded) should take his shield. Solo'd a few times.
