Weasel Error Code fix???!!

Bungie, I've bought your game, all your dlcs, have the recent update and what do I get, a quality gaming experience (laughs uncontrollably), nope I just get weasel error code every 25 minutes of play!! I've tried everything including: Uninstalling and reinstalling, xbox reboot, modem reboot, wired connection, Upnp, port forwarding and bandwidth prioritizing. And still getting the error code!! If it helps, I have xbox one, my console is connected to my wifi extender through a wired connection and every other game I play works fine so. Please I would like some answers on how to fix this error code!!

To anyone having this problem, on your own router there is and option to set QoS on your lan port (if wired), wifi extender or actual Xbox if wireless. This worked for me at least, you must set your QoS priority to highest for either lan, Xbox , or your extender. If this confuses you I will release a more detailed post tomorrow on how to fix the weasel error.

  • I'm having this problem as well. Usually I get a weasel maybe once a day but today I have already gotten 6 of them and all within 6 hours of play. It's very annoying and hard resetting everything doesn't help.

  • I had the same problem about a year ago. When i looked up the weasel error it said that it was a problem with my internet connection, not a "bungie" error. Sure enough, port forwarding solved the problem for me. Typically though, when it happened before i had port forwarded my console, i would unplug my xbox to do a hard reboot. I wouldn't have anymore problems for a few days. Not sure if the error still stems from the same issues or not, but i wish you the best of luck in finding a fix for it.

I think it may be best to eliminate the wifi extender and hard wire your console to the router/modem (if possible). If you no longer see this error, you'll know the extender may be the culprit. See error code Weasel for more info.
