Ok snipers need to flinch more when they ads! (I posted this couple weeks b4 patch...ur welcome!)

So many times I'll get 2 bursts or headshots in a row n still get domed...even w my jade rabbit, which is the highest impact scout Only way to really kill snipers is a shotgun, teamshot, or chuck grenade to get them off scope... It's so frustrating...almost wanna just ignore them cause they have no mechanic that makes them challenging to use... I would snipe but shotgunning is too fun...I still snipe sometimes tho.... It's hilarious that some people say they don't flinch much and some say they do lol....snipers barely flinch...thank u Most players that say stop complaining or get mad at post have a sniper equipped on all 3 charecters...players that only snipe will say or do anything for there sniper to stay unnerfed...they only got 1 super mini nerf to AA, ammo, n zoom Edit- Shotguns have to deal w sprint lock, increased equip time, increased ready weapon time, removed shot package, nerfed damage n range over n over, have to maneuver n get in point blank range to kill.... Snipers have high AA, zoom is still low, no sway, no descope, little flinch, scope in quick, switch weapons quick, as easy to snipe from far, medium, n close/medium range, body shot damage is 167 to 181 which leaves u w 20 to 30 hp roughly (this doesn't reward headshots-it's like oh well I missed my headshot, I'll just switch to primary n 1 bullet kill u) What mechanic to snipers have that make them hard to use? Any other fps have something to make them a little challenging to use. When primary weapons damage, range, accuracy, perks all got nerfed snipers really have no threat... *******Year 1 snipers would get 2 pieced by thorn, hawkmoon, red death, etc so flinch didn't matter...n weapons had so much more range n the damage fall off is huge now...but now that guns 3 to 4 shot mostly n have less range n accuracy snipers have more time to react n line up headshot and or take cover....again, when weapons use to 2 shot I never noticed or cared about little flinch but now I notice it since primary weapons got wrecked...it gives snipers so much of an advantage n makes snipers so much harder to kill******* Edit since new patch.... Seems like destiny agreed w me... Snipers that hardscope will be mad Snipers that are aggressive n scope in n shoot quickly after will still wreck.... But if u hardscope for long period of time u will get blasted in ur face n will get flinched...

  • No, don't increase flinch, don't add descope. None of that shit. I'll come to every single thread like this and be happy to correct people on what needs to happen. Remove every nerf from 2.0 patch, forward. Buff all archetypes of AR's at the same time. Problem solved. Know what kept snipers and shotguns in a good spot in year one ? The ability to two shot with hc's. Hc's great accuracy compared to how horrible it is now. The ability to two burst with high impact archetype PR's. Not to mention PR's before the stability blanket nerf were straight up lazers. So even low impact archetype PR's were very viable as well. AR's were just in a bad spot and couldn't counter shit at the time. That's exactly what needs to happen. Until then, snipers and shotguns are going to reign like they are now. You and a lot of people don't understand that anymore nerfs to snipers are going to make them unusable. It's already a risk to use them unless you're good with them because every map in Destiny aside from [b]THREE[/b] (that are only available in the classic 6v6 playlist) are all cqc maps. Unless bungie starts making better map designs and have more large/open maps that are more commonly available, nothing needs to be done to snipers. And no, I'm not a biased sniper. Between my shotgun and sniper I have almost the same exact kills with both so I don't just use snipers and I don't just use shotguns. So my opinion here isn't one sided before anyone tries to jump that gun.
