Just recently got it (free with PS+) and it seems pretty damn fun so far. Anyone else play it?

Consired buying it on steam couple times, glad i never did. A good game, a good ps+ title.

Its great if you like naval style combat like Black Flag and the soundtrack is pretty great.

Rebel Galaxy was a PS+ fail in my opinion. They can't all be Rocket League. Spaceships are bound to a 2D plane. This game could be reskinned as Rebel Giant Flat Table. The second mission has you make the same long, boring trip as the first mission. Guess what you'll be doing 85% of the time? Obvious PC port with tiny, unreadable text. Your time is more valuable than this.

To me it seems a lot like this mobile game called Galaxy on Fire 2( I think that's what it's called)

It's a good game I enjoy it, definitely worth playing cosindering it's free.

I got two the second area and just lost interest tried picking it up a few times. Play 5 or 6 minutes then usually hoping to something else..

The right soundtrack can really set the mood. From the first key notes I knew what style the game was going for. Some very good ships but word of warning, if you're the type who likes the make cash by "buying low and selling high" the RNG makes it a real pain. Better off doing quests for factions and such. Other then that I had a blast.
