My sincere post on the No Land Beyond and how it should be improved.

Okay, so here I am again. This time it's for the (not so good) No Land Beyond. (Skip next paragraph if you don't care about my history with NLB) First, let me introduce my history with it. First exotic I ever got (not the first I ever had, because this was Hawkmoon when Xur was selling it, 3rd week of TTK). My friend said: You couldn't had worst luck, didn't you? He told me that gun was terrible, that I should just dismantle it. I kept it, because it was the first exotic I ever got (in PoE as a guaranteed first exotic). I kept it because I thought it was cool looking, and because I could use it to have some fun in the crucible later. I didn't. That gun was terrible... Okay, let's get into the core of this. 1:The No Land Beyond it's a handicap weapon. The only true advantage (and it's not even a good one) it's that it's a primary. That means that you have to give up your primary weapon, which should be your primary source if kills, both in crucible and outside of it. Even if it's a primary it doesn't help that can only hold 11 rounds (as of now, but I remember it having 12 if I'm not mistaken). That ammo capacity only works for crucible since you won't run out of ammo easily, but this is terrible in PvE. A sniper is a weapon you use to take out enemies with the safety of not being in their range. 11 rounds cannot fill that role (but I'll get into it with more detail later). It should hold, at least, 18 for it to be somehow viable in PvE. 2. Rate of fire: This is the only bolt action sniper rifle in Destiny, which gives you a really slow fire rate. However, there's a trick we all know about: Canceling the animation for the bolt, but still, this makes you rely on a thing that the weapon naturally does not do, you're forcing it to shoot faster because of a glitch (and if you fail to do it it won't shoot, like it happened to me sometimes). 3. The impact: The impact it's too low for how slow this weapon shoots because of the bolt action animation, and the fact that cannot match other snipers in impact and RoF, coupled with it's base low ammo capacity just ruins any chance for it to even be decent for PvE. And the Mastery perk doesn't even let you 1 shot in crucible! Why that perk then? Because for PvE doesn't even help either. 4. The scope glint: Why a scopeless sniper has scope glint. I mean, WHY? IT MAKES ZERO SENSE. IT HAS IRON SIGHTS (and don't tell me they shine that much that they cause scope glint because I won't take it). 5. The iron sight itself: This is subjective for the most part, but I have 2 problems with this iron sight: 5.1. It has too much zoom for being an iron sight. Like, I've seen scopes with less zoom that those iron sights. 5.2. It is a very intrusive iron sight. Why it can have an iron sight like the SV98 of BF3 for example? Why? I'll remind you that this gun is a handicap gun, but I think it has too many handicaps to feel rewarding. I wouldn't complain if it could be used decently outside the crucible, but even in the place where it's meant to be used sucks. Here I'll post what I think it could be done to make it better (there's no need to put them all at the same time, remember, it was designed as a handicap gun). 1. Remove the scope glint and the extreme zoom of this "iron sight". Or, if you will, add a scope so we stop having this uncomfortable iron sight. 2. Increase a little bit the Impact for PvE and/or the ammo capacity to 18 so it can compete with the other 2 special exotic weapons that go in the primary slot (yeah, I know Vex Mythoclast it's still Y1 but if it made it into Y3 it would have solar burn, and that's a thing in PvE, and UR... It works really well in PvE, no complaints here). 3. Change the perks, like, completely. Mastery doesn't help, it does not 1 shot (it wouldn't be fair either). It should, instead, give you a bonus to the fire rate (bolt action animation doubling the speed) and reload for the 7 seconds (?) it lasts. And make mulligan return the 75% of the shots. I feel much better now. I know this guns works wonders if mastered, but still, it will never be able to get outside of crucible ever in it's current state (and I would like to). And the fact that to make it nearly viable you need to abuse the bolt action glitch explains by itself how terrible this gun truly is. Thanks for reading, be sure to leave your opinions about this in the comments (always with respect to each other if possible).
