Hey, I just stumbled upon this, and am in the same EXACT boat. I bought the Rise of Iron add-on card (PS4) from Best Buy back in June, and have still not received my code via e-mail. I thought I was crazy and maybe deleted it by accident after going through 2 months of Best Buy junk mail. I called support a few days ago, and they said they would re-send the e-mail within 24 hours, and guess what... still no e-mail. So they told you over the phone that they haven't been sent the codes, and were sending them out on the 20th? They didn't mention anything like that to me. Sucks that happened to you, but glad I'm not the only one.

  • Same exact situation for me as Cedon except they didn't say anything about Bungie sitting on the codes. In fact they told me I'd get the e-mail with code within 24-48 hours ONCE LAUNCH DAY LANDED! Which means if they aren't full of crap on this, I might not even get my code (which I bought months ago) until possibly the 22nd?! Will never do this again. Take note: this is NOT how you get people to pre-buy!

  • Sorry to hear that. I called the Best Buy support back a few days later to check on the status of my request, and that's when they told me the code would be sent to me either on the 20th or before. After I heard that, I went back to the local store with my receipt and $30 piece of paper in hand, and asked for a refund. At first, they said I was outside of the return policy, which I replied was obvious because I've been waiting on an e-mail code to be sent to me, which should have been sent to me within a few days after purchase. Then a manager tried to tell me that all pre-order codes are sent out on the day of release, which I replied no they aren't... that makes no sense considering it's a PRE-ORDER CODE. Nowhere on the card does it say anything about codes being sent on release day. I told him I paid $30 for a code, and have nothing to show for it, and I may or may not get the code at all on the 20th. Eventually he returned it and gave me store credit, which I used to buy a PSN card, which I should have done in the first place, and will do so from here on out. I couldn't help but notice there were no other Rise of Iron pre-order cards to be found on the shelf either, which leads me to believe they were pulled at some point since Best Buy was obviously selling codes BEFORE they even had them.
