No stakes Elimination is available Tuesday-Thursday. Just play that with your team and you'll get a better sense of how it should be played. Trials is heavily focused on wins, so it tends to bring out the highly competitive "try hard" attitude in people. Since there's really nothing at stake in the Elimination playlist you'll run into less super serious teams. And unlike Trials you may even run into PUG teams where you'll have a serious advantage over them being in a fireteam. There's a reason that quest is called "Trials Practice". On that note communication is huge. Calling out enemy movement improves your teams' situational awareness. If you want to make a push let your team know so they can back you up, and likewise let them know if you have to disengage so they don't rush into fights without support. This is why having a consistent team really helps.
