Make your own raid boss!

BEFORE YOU START. This is supposed to be a fun post! So if you don't have anything nice to say, leave. Now. Let's make a raid boss! It can be gameplay mechanics or maybe just a grimore for the raid boss. Let's see what everyone can come up with. I'll start first with mine in the spoiler.
This guy will be called Sarviks and I'm just doing a grimore card. "I can remember the days when the Eliksni ruled many planets! I remember when we didn't need to scavenge to survive. I remember the Great Machine... It decided to abandon us! Left us to misery, and death. We followed it only to realize it raised the dead to defend itself! It never chose us... Many houses have failed to reclaim it. Devils, winter, Kings, and wolves. But I have been patient. I have waited. My house will rise and reclaim the Great Machine. We are those that hid when the Whirlwind ripped everything away. We are the House that will unite all houses. Skolas did not think big enough. The Devils thought the plague would aid them. We have much more. We know what true horrors the Great Machine fear. We will harness the power of the Hive and these...Taken...We will use them to make new weapons and armor! New ships and servitors! New ways...to reclaim the thousands of lives we lost at the whirlwind. Let it be known, I am Sarviks! The true Kell of Kells! And I have forged myself a new destiny."
Yes my imagination goes wild sometimes. Anyways I'm anxious to see what you guys can come up with!!! Edit 1: I guess most people rather make jokes than be a little serious. I like it...

  • Hesourgeek the Unbroken: a once mighty cuck who dominated the Crucible like it was some kind of game (shocking I know!).He/she/it has turned to the dark side and must be promptly roasted to keep balance and save the city. This monstrosity must be vanquished to return the stolen cholesterol to all guardians and citizens of the Last City. The fight starts out in a circular room with no cover at all. From the ceiling above way too high to see, he comes flailing down in a fit of rage. Hesourgeek gets up and spots the first person he sees and gives them a debuff of prenerf Thorn DoT. The only way to keep from dying is by throwing money at your screen (everyone must keep change on them at all times). If you fail to throw the cash in Activis- *cough* I mean Luk- *cough* I mean your screen's anus, everyone wipes and gets their account wiped. If you please your screen, hesourgeek will freeze and you can damage him to half health. Once at half health, he can't be damaged and will start flooding the room with all the salt hesourgeek has stored up from his victims. 3 platforms will rise with the salt so try to get on them before you have a heart attack or some shizz. The only way to kill him is with a prenerf Final Round Icebreaker (thats it). Upon death he'll scream a mongoloid scream before self imploding on his stream. He drops nothing because he always flees or uses cheap tactics to wipe you. No one like his raid because he's a stingy boss. Hesourgeek is also allegedly related to some cruci-baby (Shesmynerd or some crap?), but I just can't seem to find any resemblance what so ever, so it must be a false rumor.
yeet
Cabal Raid, Phobos Boss name: Valus Mo'ourc Encounter takes place in a circular room with limited cover. The ceiling is very high and completely obscured by smoke. 4 glowing blue plates are located near the middle of the room, equidistant from the center and each other. Spawn doors are located all around the room. The encounter starts when the boss, Valus To'ourc, bursts through the ceiling. His weaponry includes a rail gun similar to the Sleeper Simulant which he fires every 10 seconds at a player that he can see. The weapon does massive damage but does not kill outright. A notification will appear when he is about to fire. His other weapon is an arc gauntlet that he slams into the floor whenever an enemy approaches, like a traditional raid bosses melee but in a wider area. The boss is shielded from regular damage. The relic for this raid is a modified Phalanx shield, carried by the Shieldbearer Phalanx. Holding LT with it will cause you to hunker down, blocking damage from one direction at the cost of rendering you completely immobile. When it is shot with the Valus' rail gun, it becomes super charged, allowing it to fire a powerful beam of energy. When the fight starts, 2 separate squads of Cabal will spawn on opposite sides of the arena. One squad will be led by a Shieldbearer, and the other by a Bracus who is also shielded from regular damage. You must kill the Shieldbearer to take his shield. Use the shield to block a shot from the Valus (note that the Valus will fire at any Guardian in sight, so make sure that the person with the Shield is the only one who is in the Valus' line of sight). Fire the Shield's super at the Bracus to remove his overshield that protects him from regular damage, and kill him. The death of the Bracus will cause the Valus to fly up in the air for 15-30 seconds. He will come down on top of a randomly selected player, killing them instantly. The chosen player will get a blue ring around them to notify them that they will be slammed, and have 2 seconds to get out of the way before the Valus lands on them. The selected player will be the only one able to see the ring. To damage the Valus, he must be lured onto one of the blue plates near the center of the room. To lure him onto a plate, players must stand on the plates and get off once the blue ring appears (note that only one player may see the blue ring, so if multiple players are on a plate it must be called out or the players will die). Landing on the blue plate will unleash a massive amount of arc energy into the Valus, causing him to be stunned and taking his shield down. When the shield is down, you have 15 seconds to damage him before he becomes un-stunned and the shield returns. On hard mode, the Valus will slam his arc gauntlet into the floor after being un-stunned. This will release an energy wave across the room. Players must jump over the energy wave or they will be killed instantly. _________________________________________ One thing that makes this encounter difficult is that if the Valus crushes somebody, the team won't be able to resurrect them until the Valus attempts to crush somebody else because he is parked directly on their body. Having to break line of sight with the Valus often is also difficult, especially if you are in a firefight with one of the Cabal squadrons already. Hope you guys like it! I put this idea down in a post of mine that was about a full DLC based around the Cabal which has sadly been lost to time.

      • Even among modern gaming companies , Activision is extraordinary. Fragmentary glimpses and scattered reports suggest a conglomerate of impossible capabilities - a company will a lot of money Activision and Bungie block the way of the true creativity of the creators . Legends say that Activision can foresee what is to come, a world as the market desires it - and that Bungie has the power to shape reality to match Activision's design, expunging anything good. The power of the economy flows through Activision. It will take something extraordinary to stop its reign of terror. Activision should be a raid boss...
They wiped Dinklebot from the universe. Get out there guardian.
• You enter into a floating room through a portal, with the boss on an elevated platform. Once any guardian gets close enough, the encounter starts and the boss fires a single large energy bolt up, like valus tlu'urn; one guardian needs to stand exactly where it will hit, otherwise it's a wipe. That one guardian gets unlimited super energy for ROAMING SUPERS ONLY, while twopaths off the main area appear, and a guardian picks up a relic at the start and the other escorts that one to the end, killing enemies. The one guardian with unlimited super needs to stagger-lock the boss or it will fire tracking rockets at the relic runner. Once the runners reach the ends, they need to throw them both at points that only they can see. Once all the points have been destroyed, the damage phase starts; waves appear in the ground and any guardian who isn't behind a wave when timers are up can make no action for the rest of the damage phase. Once the phase ends, the boss fires a giant chain knife at the portal you came from and regenerates. Guardians need to press X to take some energy and throw it at glowing spots in the portal (to activate the challenge encounter, throw it at the base of the knife sticking out of the portal, any guardian who hits it can advance to the challenge) once all of the glowing spots are destroyed, the boss stops regenerating and the phases restart. If any players have activated the challenge, the boss fires another giant chain knife on death, and bursts into flame, creating a comet-like sphere; any players who have activated the challenge can jump on the tail and they have to run on it like a jumping puzzle until it stops and challenge players get loot, including an exotic artifact that does something different for each class and looks like wings on guardians' backs

                Valus Nu'uub, Emperor's Guard
Grimoire: Valus Nu'uub How Nu'uub came into his position as Valus is a mystery: violent insubordination; abuse of power; grudges that have lead to many "accidental" deaths among superiors; even attempted assault on the Emperor himself; the list of offenses goes on. However, one thing that is known for certain is that Nu'uub's rage knows no bounds. Likely, this rage is the reason Nu'uub has been kept around, and would explain why he was placed in command of what can only be described as a playpen from Hell. Indeed, his superiors seem content to treat Nu'uub not as a commander, but as a "pet" to be unleashed upon the enemy; treatment all too similar to that of the Hive and their wretched Ogres. Field reports indicate Nu'uub's rage to be so blinding that nearly all sense of self-preservation seems lost. Perhaps guardians can utilize the various mechanisms and traps around the beast to turn the his strength into a weakness.
Very large room, with almost no cover except for a few small walls. Room has mines that kill you instantly and traps that leave you a sitting duck. Boss chases you all over the place with his jump pack, spamming dual projection rifles, swatting you away if you get too close. Has a shield of a random colour (Red, Blue, Green or Yellow) that cannot be broken by normal weapons fire or abilities. Gotta melee kill 3 specially-coloured (and heavily Phalanx/Colossus-guarded) Psions that correspond to shield type to gain an elemental boost, which you use to take down his shields. Once shields go down Primus goes "berserk" and cannot be slowed or stunned by Guardian abilities (Shadowshot, Suppressor Grenade, etc.) Charges very quickly after the person with the boost (think Primus Ta'aun during Regicide, only much faster and deadlier). Lure him into one of the traps to immobilize and damage him. At 1/4 health left, boss enters permanent berserk state and destroys all traps, losing his shield and creating large craters where the traps once stood. As he still cannot be stunned or slowed, this requires players to be constantly on the move. Endless horde of Legionaries and Centurions constantly spawn to assist Nu'uub. One player must collect an electrical device dropped from a destroyed trap to disable a door lock (think the Arc Streams during Fallen S.A.B.E.R), while other players keep said player safe. The carrier must enter the now-unlocked door and travel to the room above. Player will enter a hole in the wall and destroy some ceiling supports at each corner of the room. Other players must lure boss to collapsing ceiling. Boss will be crushed under debris. Players must put all of their firepower into him (heavy weapons, abilities, supers, everything) to deal 200 000 damage within 20 seconds, or else boss will get up, enact a self-destruct sequence in the room and blow up everything, resulting in a wipe. Basically, it's mobility, raw firepower and coordination you need. Everybody needs to deal their share of damage during the final segment, meaning nobody can be slacking off or incredibly under-leveled. Also, the boss has no weak point. At all. Black Spindle? HA!!!

              • kathréftis a Vex 'God' (the word means mirror) As you fight your way through his crazy mirror maze you enter the boss room and come face to face with Kathréftis, or so you think, when the battle begins it turns out he's actually behind you and the way you came in is in front of you allowing him to attack and potentially take out a guardian without enough reaction time. He'll look similar to atheon but less blocky and more smooth. Like a Hobgoblin with a protective cover over his center and himself made entirely of glass like atheon. During the fight he'll be firing his main weapon which is his sniper that ricochets around the room. After the first bounce it cannot one shot a guardian at full health. He will also have Silver harpies flying into the room occasionally to pester or kill you. During the fight he'll be spawning a second one of him occasionally that will also do damage and take damage by they'll be identical and you won't know which is which until you kill one. If you kill the fake one it does and the other, the real one, laughs at you and disappears with a blinding light which causes every guardian to go blind temporarily (unless you're in a Titan bubble) when he does this he'll teleport to a random location and then spawn another replica and the process goes on with both of them having the same health as the real one did before he flashed everyone. Note: if you're in the bubble when he flashes you'll be able to see where he goes and which the fake one is. This raid would be less of a puzzle challenge and more of a fight of life and death against a trickster. If you beat him the exotic you get will be a sword that looks like a broken mirror piece. It's exotic perk is called Shattered which allows the user to break any kind of shield (arc, solar, or void in pve enemies) and remove all buffs an enemy has (gunslinger's trance etc). Lastly it takes a small percentage of an enemy guardians super soon killing them. About one kill's worth.

                  • I was making up a House of Kings raid and I figured I would use one of the bosses.
You go deep down into the base and slide down a steep slope and face the boss. The boss is the Kings’ Archon, Kaelor. Kaelor is a massive Fallen standing at a whopping 16 feet and uses a modified wire rifle. This wire rifle has a longer charge time, but has extreme range and takes out a good chunk of player health. He can also throw stun grenades with a blinding effect for mid-range encounters. When the encounter begins, a major sword Captain will spawn with two on each side of the map. Kaelor will also be accompanied by a substantial number of dregs with some sniper shank support. What you need to do is kill the four captains to absorb the buff “Essence of Ether”. This buff can only be granted to one player and lasts for 20 seconds. This buff allows you to damage the boss, but you do 15% less damage. After the buff wears off, the text “Kaelor has become infuriated” will read on the screen and he will throw a swarm of stun grenades in all directions. He will then call upon a wave of exploder shanks to come and attack the Guardians. Then, the four Captains and their forces begin to spawn again. The process must be completed as many times as possible in order to beat the boss. The enrage-mode begins at 10 minutes.
• An amalgam of everything annoying and cheesy about current bosses (and even some mobs), he's a Taken Cabal Primus elevated from the ranks of the phalanx. Ruffus, the Griefbringer Abilities: Damage ShamWow: as many HPs as Phogoth. Black Spindle, shmack shmindle: jumps and trashes about as if having massive seizures (while still being combat effective of course). Has microscopic head that randomly bobbles up and down. Ultra-but-not-really: Three-of-Coins don't work with this guy, because, reasons! Lazy footstomp: As soon as you enter the potential area of effect of this attack, the boss does it. It doesn't matter in you snuck in from behind, he can see behind him. Oooo, that tickles: The boss eats rockets for breakfast. If you think you're gonna hurt him with a weapon designed to penetrate a tank's armor, cook everyone inside and then blow it up from the overpressure, you're deluding yourself. Unaffected by all your cool shiz: Not slowed down by tethers, not suppressed by suppressor grenades, not blinded by Saint-14 or flash bangs, etc. Taken Goblin trollbuddies: When you throw a grenade, fire your last sniper bullet or rocket, or cast your super, an out-of-sight Taken Goblin will always project its -blam!-ing immunity shield on the boss. Trololol! Invisibly rectangular hexagonal shield: Weilds a shield that looks deceptively hexagonal, but when you try shooting through the clipped corners, you'll hit nothing because box colliders are cheaper than mesh colliders, suckas. Carpet Bombing: using a weapon that requires aiming is clearly beneath the boss. He's got some gun that fires a quasi-continuous stream of exploding shiz that causes wide area splash damage, too many vision-blocking particle FXs, rumbles your controller so hard your hands go numb, and causes the kind of scope flinch PvPers only wish they could inflict on snipers. And of course: No-cooldown-blinding-planet-sized-black-balls: "Have fun dodging all that shiz while not shooting me. It's gonna be doubly satisfying to give you the middle finger when I despawn with a -blam!- hair of my life left."

                      • A Cabal raid. You start outside of a Cabal fortress. There is 1 giant door in the middle and 2 tunnels on either side. The fireteam must split into 2 teams of 3 and go through these tunnels, fighting a "Valus" type boss at the end of each. Once the boss reaches 1/2 hp he recieves a shild immune to all damage and Flayers will spawn in, whoever kills a flayer recieves an elemental buff based on it's element so a different person needs to kill each one. The buff allows that player to damage the bosses shield which allows everyone to damage it for a short amount of time, the shield will rotate elements. (HM; Flayer buffs have a time limit Once the boss is dead, a door opens in the back, with 3 different colored plates on the floor. The players need to stand on the plate matching the buff they recieved from the flayer they killed. the plates must also be stepped on in the order that the Flayers spawned into the fight. The order that the Flayers spawn is random for both sides, and the sequence for each tunnel must be done within 10s of each other. (HM; a wrong sequence wipes the group.) Once this is done correctly, a terminal for the Ghost to interact with appears and (as per the norm) the Ghost succeeds in his hacking while also setting off a failsafe. A timer pops up as 2 blast doors close off the tunnels as enemies flood the area. Players must seek out and kill a special mob in each section to recieve a passcode to open the blast door for each area. If the players don't escape in time, the group is wiped by an explosion. Once everyone makes it outside, the explosions happen firing Cabal out of each tunnel, where they die upon landing (Payback for those "architect kill, shield bashing phalanx jerks). The big door opens and a suped-up tank comes rolling down the ramp. This tank has Phalanx shield guarding it's thrusters, and 4 Psion gunners that are replaced when new waves spawn (or 4 more psions run out if all 3 or more are killed. Players must destroy the close quarters weaponry, (the grenade or flack launcher thing they have) by destroying a (obvious for this fight) console on the main body. Players should then kill the gunners on one side of the tank and run to the phalanx shields where they can be meleed to knock them off, causing the corresponding thruster to be exposed. When a tread is destroyed the tank loses 1/4 hp and an enemy wave spawns, replacing any missing Psion gunners and any torn off Phalanx thruster shields. HM; At this point the mobs have a yellow hp mob guard, and aee immune unless all of them are killed) When the tank is at 1/4 hp the the Cabal gunners and shields respawn whenever one is killed/torn off. They can be killed before reaching the tank. Repeat till win.
