Please adjust Heart of the Praxic Fire. 16 vs 15 throws is not exotic.

The max grenades i can throw during my super (just sitting there mashing right bumper) is 12. When i wear HotPF, this is increased to 14. A difference of [u]two[/u] If you have gift of the sun on (when i originally made this thread), the difference is [b][u]one[/u][/b] Doesn't really scream exotic does it? The Added Agility is nice, but it does not make it exotic really. Keep the Name [b]"Praise the Sun"[/b] of course but here are some ideas: [u][b]Suggestions: [/b][/u] -Kills during radiance increase the duration of Radiance (a noticable ammount) -Increased radius of SoF AoE [u]and[/u] Allies with the SoF buff are given an overshield -Grenades do increased damage during your super -Grenades blind targets -Don't have it grant radiant will because its only a 3 second difference, which makes a slight difference, but its boring. -Maybe reduce your melee and grenade cooldowns (additionally while not in radiance?) [b]Notes:[/b] SoF needs a visual AOE so my team can differentiate. It would be really great to have the perk that extends the duration because if its actually good, i can use a sword while in radiance in PvE for a good reason. [u]Personal note:[/u] So many exotics needs to be worked on, Im mentioning this one because of my personal attachement and what i went through to get it. -Since day one I saved up every single mote every week for when xur would sell chest engrams(30-50 engram I can't rememeber) -Got it 2 weeks before xur sold it I'm really disappointed in bungie for nerfing exotics and perks, maybe one day when they have an exotic that grants a free grenade and melee for every perk, then we can have some actual interesting exotics. Edit: I'm surprised at the amount of likes. Glad i'm not the only one.

  • I have a lot of feedback about Sunsingers collected. I will add this to it when I give it to the devs. Thanks for posting some suggestions on how to make this Exotic more Exotic.

    • Does everyone only use grenades and flame shield as a sunsinger while radiance'd? While not optimal but fun try using other perks instead of just chucking grenades. I use the sunburst perk along with the exploding melee. It charges way quicker and with sunburst i make orbs for my team.

      • I think Mask of the Third Man is similarly lack luster. It adds two extra arc blade swings, which makes it kind of pointless compared to other exotics.

        • Signing. I used it exclusively in year 1, but stopped some time during year 2. Part of the reason was due to the fact that it now took shaders, ironically. I couldn't find an armor/shader combo I liked with it.

        • It really does feel lackluster so i never bother with it anymore. I just sunfire protocol. Sad to see sunsingers are the punching bag of this game. 3 nerfs and pretty much meh exotics.

        • Not to deny or accept, but I never personally had a problem with this. The current build that I have works extremely well and I've been using it for a long time now. My only question is "How many more grenades do you want to toss?" I use fusion grenades and they already do a substantial amount of damage and most targets are severely weakened if not killed. Tossing 14 -16 grenades seems already balanced to me. However if the number of nades tossed is increased, I wont complain, more damage. If it becomes less then I will have a problem. And on the side-note, it seems the 'lackluster' of this exotic is to help 'balance' PvP. But I won't delve down into that topic because Destiny PvP isn't my interest. To me the Exotic is worth the slot if you can get its synergy to proc and build to uphold. Of course this is all just from my experience and please take it with a grain of salt. And for those who will bother with it... [spoiler]I've had a Praxic Fire since Y1 and not from Xur and that I'm actually happy with the Agility addition.[/spoiler] But still "How many more grenades do you want to toss?" [spoiler]All of them. lol[/spoiler]

          • Y2 HoPF is a garbage. Y1 we have fun with it. a real exotic. Sunsinger is become garbage subclass. In general..Many of stuff was fun in Y1 become garbage in Y2. And most of Y2 exotics are garbage. Like the perk.."Orbs Will carge the melee or grenade when super is full" First...During raid..we want to use orbs for super only...don't care about melee...it will not kill the boss. Second...that perks are more stupid ...because it will make all the orbs disapear if we step on it when our super, grenade and melee full..!!! And they never fix that Perk ever...!! The other perk that give glimmer when we pick primary ammo. well It only give us like 5...what the hell??? Give us 500 then it will make the perk worth. I can produce more glimmers by meleeing the weakest minions (with a correct ghost)..in few second than pick up the ammo.

            • I think it should grant Song of Flame and also reduce the cool-down of your melee (at least more than it currently does).

            • While I do agree that hopf needs a buff, I don't think it needs that kind of buff. Back in year one it reduced the cool down of grenades way more than now. It basically gave you the same cool down as a though you had gift of the sun equipped. ( It basically equipped gift of the sun for your super.) If you threw Viking funeral in the mix then you turn into a dragon. What made the exotic go to shit was the nerf when ttk dropped. I feel like if they removed the nerf (and buffed sunsingers) it would be worth using. I do agree with the first idea of increasing the duration after a kill though. Bump for that

              • Bump. I don't know what they could do honestly maybe steroid nearby allies melee and grenade regen furthering the sunsingers team usefulness idk. Also that exotic that gives you a chance at glimmer should just grant shatter to the Nova bomb. If you're running that exotic and the vortex thing for the super it should only spawn the vortex on the middle shatter bomb.

              • are you running self res when you wear it or something else? Cause I'm usually able to throw more than 14 with radiant skin but I'll have to check again I'll do a test when I wake up

                • Thank you for bringing attention to this. After the s.s. nerf, I wanted to make this post, but lost steam and was totally discouraged by the Nerf all together. Maybe add massive armor to the chest piece

                • Increase the buff to 100%. Currently it's only a 25% cooldown time reduction. Then it'll be possible to spec for max intellect and low discipline/strength and not be punished when you use your Super (which will be more often due to high intellect).

                      • Trust me, It's not just Heart of Praxic Fire that needs a buff. It's practically the ENTIRE SUBCLASS that needs to be buffed.

                        alot of the exotics in general need reworking, i had mained a triple warlock set up (as i can only play enough get a single max power set) until around 5 months ago, i decided to change to having a hunter and a month after that decided to make my titan i have found very few armor exotics worth keeping the only ones i main are things like helm of saint-14 for defender titan and bones of eao for nightstalker hunter my only maxed out subclasses for those two (slowly increasing the other two for each). the weapons also need a rework to counter the previous nerfs.

                        • The whole subclass has been nerfed into the ground to make Trials players stop whining. I main a Warlock...always have. ..and unless I need self-rez or to fill a solar abilities bounty, I never play a Sunsinger any more. Not worth the aggravation anymore. Right now those are the only things that a SS can do, that VW and SCs cant do...and do better.
