You people are just a bunch of idiots. The only people that overhyped this game were the ones that did no research at all and thought it was going to be like a Mass Effect or Star Wars. Y'all hyped this game up all by yourselves and now you hating on it. I was excited for NMS before launch and I'm still loving it. Yall made shyt up about NMS and now you're hating on it for not meeting your out of the world expectations.

It's getting to the point where I feel like someone is actually going to file a lawsuit against HelloGames claiming false advertising. I want them to win.
-
That window of opportunity has closed. No more refunds. I think Steam and Sony are trying to cover their asses as it looks like a pretty clear case of false advertising.
-
I knew about this game ever since it was announced but I didn't ride the hype train because I knew it had a big chance of failure, I knew there was going to be something missing when it launched, I didn't expect that much to be missing tho lol But I still enjoy the game because I didn't keep up with its news and although I know what's missing now I still don't care I still like the game and definitely can't wait till they add more stuff to it and see where they take this game to

No it can't.

Steam's Sotre says that there won't be any exceptions to their normal refund policy for NMS.
-
Edited by Alec Red Bb: 8/30/2016 2:40:24 PMlol your game turned out to be shit.
-
Yea.... I wish this worked for me but it didn't
-
Edited by Rhynerd: 8/30/2016 2:01:19 AMIsn't it only on a case-by-case basis? Because otherwise the real issue will be the industry introducing something that can be quite abusable.
-
i wil not do that i have hope in future updates. remember how shit destiny was in vanilla? no content, pure grind and op guns. now thanks to 1000 of updates we basicly got a well balanced game cause bungie actually care about the communty! hope hello games will do so too.
-
Never understood what the point of this game was. Watched a bunch of streams and still don't get what all the hype was about. Shame
-
I think I might have been messed around when asking for my refund. Did anyone else get told that my your request has been forwarded to the billing team and I'll get an email off them? That's what I got when talking to a fella on live chat.
-
That's what PS4 gets, I guess.
-
How is it that I, with almost no knowledge of the game knew that the game would be exactly what it is? Maybe cause it was obvious.
-
I mean, people knew what this game was about. If no one loved exploring, why the -blam!- did ya'll buy it?
-
This is the worst release I've seen in my gaming career.
-
I saw this on Reddit. Thank -blam!-ing god. Even Amazon is letting people refund their copy. This game was a definite dissapointment.
-
Tried to get a refund on PC after 29h of playtime and they refused. I guess playtime does matter...
-
Everyone return return bankrupt these SOB so next time a company wants to lie to there fan base they need only look at Sean Murray at goodbye games begging for scraps on the street let's make an example of this fool
-
I'd try to get a refund but there really is nothing I want in Sept beside Xcom 2 and by then I'll have money to get it anyhow.
-
Hahahahaha! Ohhhh my God... So glad I didn't buy that game.
-
I did the smart thing and waited for a used copy to show up at Gamestop. I took that shit back the next day.
-
It always feels good to be right. It felt good then, and it feels good now.
-
Wow. That just makes it so much harder for defenders to justify themselves
-
Edited by ObamaBinLaden: 8/29/2016 4:06:58 AMI would recommend Deus Ex Mankind Divided to anyone looking to spend that refund on something better. It's the opposite of NMS in that there wasn't much hype, but it ended up delivering in every way
-
You know a game is bad when steam and psn give you a full refund for digital content which has never happened on psn like ever.
