Hello guys and gals, I was wondering if this is a good computer build
at least good enough to play no mans sky?
I am somewhat new to pc gaming so it will be nice to know your opinions.
AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz Hexa-Core, NVIDIA GT 740 (2GB) Graphics (Upgrading later on) , 16GB DDR3 Memory, 1TB HDD, WiFi, DVD±RW, LED Fan Control Panel, Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-Bit
Edit: thanks so far all of you.
Edit 2: Special thanks to ChemicalMarriage, he has helped me a lot.
Edit 3: Thank you everyone, but I have found a computer now. Will post it later.
Edit 4: My final choice was: https://www.amazon.com/CybertronPC-Rhodium-950-Gaming-Desktop/dp/B01CSE0TVK/ref=pd_rhf_se_p_img_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=BD3N3QWD6G57DQ6KP1FV it is amazing and a good low price, all I will need to do is upgrade the graphics card.

I would go for Star Citizen if you want a Space Sim but the choice is yours. The thing I would object to however is 1. Windows 7 > Windows 10, and 2. I'd spring for at least 8 gigs of DDR4 rather than 16 gigs of DDR3.
-
Who do you want a computer to run a poorly done grinding sim?
-
Your trusty toaster can run it.
-
Depends if you want to run at a decent framerate on higher settings or not. You'd probably at least wanna switch that 740 to a 750, and others might tell you to switch that AMD to an Intel Core, I prefer AMD. That said, that setup will run older games flawlessly and newer AAA's decently on lower settings
-
Is there a budget and what exactly are you trying to play(new, old games?) Is there a certain framerate you would like to achieve alongside certain graphical settings, also do you want it pre built or could you build it yourself?
-
amd processors are junk, but if on a strict budget it works.
-
You can have a $3000 computer. Whether or not NMS will run is a flip of a coin.
-
That GT 740 is probably the weakest part of that system. Judging from the specs, I assume you're buying on a budget? In any case, I would suggest upgrading that GPU to an RX 480 or a GTX 1060, if you can spare the extra cash.

Get a ssd later on. It is worth it. Can load games in 10 seconds.

How much are you paying?
