Dear guardians, This may sound retarded, but bear with me. The Shortgaze, currently so called best sniper scope in the game, is currently the most used scope in the game, other than the ambush. Due to recent nerfs, the Shortgaze hasn't been as good as it was before, yet it is still a go to for many professional players. Why? Because the scope has the perfect zoom, and is light and snappy. Another reason is that it added 15 aim assistance, but the need brought it down to 0. Aim assistance is an important aspect in this game and sniping would be a lot harder without it. The more aim assistance the better sniper. This isn't exactly true, but it is true for most players. The longview slr10 is a great scope, and I encourage the average sniper to start using this scope. Obviously, it will take some time to get used to, as the zoom amount is a little bit higher. From what I've read, the Longview slr10 gives 18 aim assistance. Please correct me if I am incorrect. If you happen to get a god roll with this scope and hidden hand, your sniper will have a lot of aim assistance. I started using this scope because I got my first and only longbow with longview slr10, snapshot, and hidden hand. I really wanted a different sniper from my 1k stare, which had the Shortgaze, quick draw, and hidden hand. When I got the longbow, I did some research and found out that the longbow has higher base aim assistance. I switched over and got used to the Longview slr10, and realized how amazing the Longview is. I really felt that my sniper slills improved, which lead me to writing this post.
