If you're like me, you want to know more about Destiny Lore without having to piece it all together yourself. Here!

Bungie, we really shouldn't have to go so far outside the game to understand the Story of Destiny. Thankfully, Matt Miller put it all together for us: http://www.gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2016/08/24/what-s-going-on-in-destiny-s-story-2016-edition.aspx?PostPageIndex=1 Note: I have not read the entire article yet. Just thought I'd post it so folks could enjoy it. From the intro of it, sounds like Miller worked hard to confirm as much of the story as possible with actual Bungie employees. Edit: And if you haven't seen this animated video on Dregden Yor and the birth of Thorn, check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FgyvLONRNaI Edit: And here's a link to an active discussion about the GI piece that's going on over in #Lore: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/211682495?sort=0&page=0

So is the darkness an entity or a merely collective term used for the enemy races of The Last City/Traveler (The Worms, The Hive, The Vex, The Fallen, The Cabal, The Ahamkara etc.). And these Darkness Zones that prevents respawning are they just equivalent to when you get no signal for your phone in under ground metros, deep within large buildings or in relatively rural areas? To note, the Heart of the Black garden wasn't the Darkness, it is a Vex entity similar to a collective mind.
