SUMMED UP VERSION AT BOTTOM:
So I have kinda poked around at doubles and elimination. I don't play very often because I find that despite how good I do I still stink in trials.
I noticed though that many people leave in my last run in both modes. A lot of times they are the ones that were getting the snot kicked out of them too. I always stay and fight.
In one such game the team came over and saluted me, then gave me a head start before they hunted me down lol.
So my question is are these people leaving because they are quitters? Or could it be me?
I notice I am usually the bull that others play off of but I hate reviving while enemies are near. I usually get killed. I also have an aggressive style and am not always on the same page as my team. It's hard for me to sit back with them and pew pew pew in a cordinated attack. I prefer to wander off and hit the enemy from the side while the team distracts. Is this making them mad?
SUMMED UP VERSION:
Is it possible that the person pressing the most action and making the most kills can be the weakest link? Do you know people that are great at a style but the style is not a team oriented one? Can these people still be successful in a trials team or are they more of a distraction?

Played trials with a friend and LFG'd a few different 3rds today. This is how EVERY SINGLE LFG guy played... Friend or I would say "We're down atm so let's try and stick in the same general area of each other this round n not die first." (Sounds reasonable imo) Followed by LFG guy screaming "LEEEEEROY JENKINS!!!!" ... Guardian down... Approximately 3 miles away in some random place with no reasonable chance of revival. This type of player in general wins a battle or two but loses the war. This in a nutshell feeds their team supers and makes trials a 2v3. Side note: For Fks sake randoms stop single capping in salvage. It took me literally 10 games to win 1 for the shaxx bounty. >:(

Are you on ps4? You have to be really good to play aggressive if your team isn't pushing with you. Also in sweats you basically don't engage unless you can get the first shot off and also avoid a teamkill. I play matches that run the limit and score low bc ppl WILL NOT challenge unless it's a perfect time. It can get annoying to the least.

Your teamates left because they were quitters, and plus it's always good to have someone on a team that likes to go on the frontlines

In elimination when I play solo I try to feel like I am alone all the time so that I don't expect my teammates to do anything, which makes you pick the right situations to fight and when to run. <3

FINALLY! Someone who puts a short description of their giant post.

I saw the video your actually a pretty good player. About the trials part, sorry you have to be a team player in trials. It really is a team competition (unless your a complete bad ass and can one man it).

I used to suck at Elim but after playing with peopel who'd give me suggestions and advice im usually able to hold my own. in Elim you can't be super aggressive unless both teammates are playing the same way and you're communicating. in Elim the team who gets one picked off first (or if you trade in enemy territory where they can easily revive their teammate) it puts you at a disadvantage. I hate playing with Rambo teammates who run off and die in the stupidest places, try to get a pick before you rush

It's not always about being the best shot or getting the most kills. There other things you have to learn like callouts, flanking, positioning, map awareness, correct use of cover and angles, team shooting, 1v1s, 1v3s, baiting, learning to push as a team, etc.
