Edited by Sage 13: 8/26/2016 4:24:44 AMIn IGN's review of Pokemon OmegaRuby/AlphaSapphire, they gave the games a 7.8/10. One of their main criticisms was that the game had too much water, even though the region where the games take place is an island region, surrounded by water. I added a picture of the island region to give you a sense of the debacle.

I also enjoyed the fact that OR and AS is remake of the 3rd generation. It's like they expected map to be totally different
-
I wonder if they reviewed the original games and gave them that exact same criticism...
-
Actually I just looked it up. They gave it a 9.5... I smell inconsistencies http://www.ign.com/articles/2003/03/17/pokemon-ruby-version?

Haha, that's odd. The original & remake are essentially the same, save for a few key differences. It probably had different reviewers.

Actually the new installment didn't have the battle tower but that's about it

Oh I didn't click the link. But cool. I'm sure it was fun though. Even if it did have too much water.
-
Yeah, it was a good game, just a lot found it funny that they focused on that as a con of the game.

What...how can something with too much water be fun? I mean the stuff is wet and often cold, they say you can drink the stuff, but it tastes like nothing....NOTHING!!!!. And then some say that you can cook vegtables in it but why would I do that I don't like vegtables....who does....nobody thats why we have meat. Too much water 0.5/10 and I am being generous.
