Why so many Primary Complaints?
I for one, have no problem with primaries in the Crucible. I see People tend to try using their primary in the wrong situation (i.e using a scout at point blank, using an auto rifle across the map) and complain. I will say, the lowest rate of fire archetypes could be better, though. I think the 88/8 Autos are the best all around weapons, like the Haakon's Hatchet, but not op.
People also like to compare the ability of primaries to Specials. Specials are meant to be better. But Primaries have infinite ammo.
People also use bad combos of weapons. I hear it a lot; A man was using a shotgun and a Spray and Pray, then complained that it didn't have enough range. I prefer to use The Haakon's Hatchet, and the Plan C, personally. The archetypes work very well together, as I can take out targets with the AR and quickly eliminate Volatile targets with the Plan C Ability.
Overall, I believe people just really mess up with primaries.
Edit: I have no problem when I get killed from point blank with a shotgun. If you see a man sprinting like a madman, I assume he has one and will avoid it. And if he gets me? Well I should watch my compass better, and predict him coming through there.

same concept applies to the Mida, it just happens to be the only balanced weapon in the game effective at all ranges, but that doesnt meant it dominates all guns... at close range yes it'll outgun pulse rifles and slower scouts like Hung Jury and Cocytus, but any auto rifle and hand cannon will have the edge over it... at medium range it is no better than a medium RoF scout and any pulse rifle.. and finally at far range it beats MOST guns but has no chance against high-impact/low-RaF scouts like Cocytus and Badger.. yes it kills at all ranges, but that depends on what the opponent is using and how he is using it (as well as how bad he is lol)... i prefer to play in open spaces and my main gun is the Cocytus SR4, and it eats Mida users all day from across the map... right now i dont feel there are any OP primaries, the only thing wrong with primaries is the underwhelming slow pulse rifles that need a tweak :)
