What's the big deal with the Imago Loop? I've been playing PVP like crazy for 1.5 years and honestly can't ever remember being killed by the Imago a single time.

It depends. People love it for different reasons. I love it because i loved and got used to the feel of my fatebringer all yr 1. It all depends on what roll you get too. Its a rare drop, and you also have to depend on good crucible rolls too if thats what you want it for. Most farm the fatebringer perks and use it as a pve crowd control beast. But its much easier to land a god roll eyasluna or whatever for pvp. So you wont really see it overused in crucible. Especially over tlw or eyasluna.
-
Easy answer is, it's a relatively rare drop so the amount of people with a good roll, much less a good PVP roll is very very small. Since it's far easier to get a good Eyasluna/Finnala/LHF/DYK most people will run with those instead.
-
It has such a wide variety of perks that can fit anyone's interests and it just handles beautifully!
-
You haven't run into me then
-
It's a PvE gun
-
If it hasn't already been stated its for PVE
-
Same Impact/RoF as Eyasluna, plus it's just like the fatebringer we all know and love. I personally don't like the Eyasluna or Hawkmoon, so the more "classic" look and feel works better for me.
-
I've been using fatebringer lately. Its superior :)
-
Because it's a Fatebringer with random perks. It even looks like it (sans the slick new white paint job) and comes with the same base stats.
-
Imago loop is white? Legit question, because mine looks like a light blue/grey. Am i colourblind? Lol
-
It looked white in the Undying Mind boss fight room to me, but it might be the lighting. Grey, I could understand, but blue? Might want to get that checked out.
-
Nah not a totally bold shade of blue bro. Im not talking saterienne rapier or longbow blue. More like a really, really light shade of blue grey. More grey than blue. Just a tint of blue. Thats how mine looks. It deffinitely doesnt look white though. Or do you mean the ace of spades? That has fatebringer stats and perks and is black and white.
-
No I think you're right, the gun is a bit bluish.
-
I thought it was like that white and gold/blue dress thing allover again lol
-
Well, looking at my Loop from the app, I can kinda see a little hint of blue. It was probably the weird lighting in the boss room that made it look white. A lot of blue light in there, it probably contrasted with the subtle blue shade in the gun and made it look brighter than it was.
-
For me the Imago Loop on my Warlock is the absolute perfect PVP hand canon, I didn't even farm for it it just dropped one day
-
Hunh, I would be pretty curious to use a enhanced rader, Third Eye combo. Looks pretty sweet!
-
The thing I find crazy is that you say you have been playing for 1.5 years and you don't know what/why people want imago loop.
The thing I find crazy is that you say you have been playing for 1.5 years and you don't know what/why people want imago loop.
Well then, I guess it's lucky for me that there are others out there that are willing to politely answer my question.
-
I've never owned a Fatebringer, nor an Imago Loop. My best handcannons have been Lord Highfixer, Finnala's Peril, Eyasluna and Ace of Spades all with range perks. However, the Hand Cannon meta at my measly level of play is The Last Word all day. So Feel ya, brother.
-
People farm for the Imago because it has the possibility of getting Fatebringer rolls. It has the possibility to roll Outlaw and Firefly. More of a PVE weapon really. Can be solid for PVP with the right rolls as well.
-
I use my imago loop in everything, it just handles so well to me
-
I like it more for pve.
-
It's a good impact. If you can get one with outlaw and rifled barrel and luck in the chamber. It's a great gun. Even easier to get and it's practically the same gun is fenali's peril.
-
I like how Finnala's Peril feels better to be honest.
