Compatibility With Xbox One
I Know I'm not the only one that has this issue, but to know that you have bought Destiny and it's expansion packs or its special deals of the game like the Legendary edition, and that you can not transfer it over to the xbox one with all your data or expansion packs is really stupid. This means if you try to do so you need to buy everything back that you had on 360 Destiny for the Xbox one Destiny. Now I wish Bungie will listen and contact me about this issue but we know Bungie rarely listens to their fans. Why can't you guys fix this problem for people that try to transfer their destiny bundles to their Xbox one from the Xbox 360

I was in a similar boat that you are now when I upgraded, I bought the disc on the 360, and the DLC from the marketplace. When I transferred I had to rebuy Destiny, and all the DLC (still not that happy about it, but I got the Taken King edition with all the DLC so it wasn't a terrible hindrance). Side note, you can referred by someone once you start on the One even though you have data on the 360 if you want those items. I have tried this myself, and it works. I hope this helped.
