Some questions from someone who didnt play since VoG

Hello, I started playing Destiny again 3 days ago and some things changed which I already discovered and understood. But some mysteries arent solved yet. 1. I got a Suroms Regime and can upgrade it to 280 DMG for 150 Legendary Marks. Is it than possible to reach with this weapon 335 DMG or only 315`? Because today i got the sniper rifle "Zen Meteor" which has 300 and not 280 DMG . 2. How the heck do i upgrade my Exotic Armor, Weapon ? So i got the sniper and when I want to upgrade it it says that I need "exotic shards" (which I have) and some other stuff. But it wants me to sucrifice another extotic weapon with equal stats ? Dafuq, how is this possible ? Do I need 2 Zen Hunter do get a better one and repeat the process? I hope someone can explain that to me . 3. Is there a possible way to recognice year one player? 4. Can I get the "Drake Dance Move"- gesture only with silver which I need to buy? Or can it be dropped ? 5. Does the Vex Mythoclast have a new version with 335 DMG too? 6. What are currenty the most broken /op weapons in "Crucible" ? Some people always kill me with the same Sniper and pistol 7. I hear there is a new "best weapon of the game" . A guy showed me this weapon and told me its the best one in the game. We did a heroic story mission for lvl 41 and he literally 5 shotted the boss which I wasnt able to kill with a friend. https://www.bungie.net/de/armory/Detail?type=item&item=3012398149&itemname=Schl%C3%A4fer-Simulant I hope you can answer some or all these questions :) thank you and sorry for the bad english

    1. Infusion works much differently than upgrading weapons in Vanilla did. If you have the year 2 Suros Regime, (the black one) you can infuse any primary weapon with a higher light into it. Exotic, Legendary, Rare, whatever, it just has to have a higher light level, and be a primary. The same applies to any other weapon or armor slot, the only limitations are that your "infusion fuel" must be a higher light level than the gear you want to upgrade, and must be in the same slot. 2. Upgrading costs: Glimmer (obviously), Weapon parts or Armor materials, Legendary marks, and Exotic shards (For Exotic weapons/armor only). 3. Year one players all got the same quest, I can't remember the name of the quest, but you ended up getting an armor shader, and emblem, a ghost shell, and a sparrow. All of them, except the ghost shell and sparrow, had black and white tiger stripe patterns. 4. The emotes can only be collected via. Silver. Although all the Legendary emotes cost $5 each. (Except the Halloween Michael jackson dance which was $7) There is a very VERY slim chance that you can get a random emote package from Nightfall rewards, but it will only give you emotes that Eververse no longer sells directly. You have to get lucky with RNG on this one. Or you could just buy it. 5. Sadly, no. Neither the Vex Mythoclast nor the Nechrochasm have updated year 2 versions. They did bring back the House of Wolves exotics, The Queenbreaker's Bow, the Lord of Wolves, and the Dreg's Promise. Maybe in Year 3 after the Rise of Iron has been out for a while they'll update the other 2 raid exotics, but we'll have to see. 6. There's quite a few, really depends on the player though. Snipers have ridiculously high amounts of aim-assist, so fighting a good sniper is not very fun. 7. If you're referring to the "Sleeper Simulant" exotic heavy fusion rifle, it's really not all it's cracked up to be. It's a powerful weapon I'll give it that, and it probably has the most damage per single shot than any other weapon. But it can be out DPS-ed by other weapons, like the Black Spindle exotic sniper for example. (Or the "Raze-Lighter exotic heavy sword, but that's a close range weapon and another topic entirely.)
