[b]WARNING[/b], this post contains minor spoilers for RoI. So after we take out Siva and the Devil Splicers who's going to control the Cosmodrome? Think about it. The Devils currently own the Cosmodrome but the majority in the area are being augmented. Odds are once we destroy the mind or heart of SIVA most will retreat to the Plague Lands. But who takes over after? The Hive are already weakens by us and the Splicers pushed them back in attempt to take over their territory, as we've seen in the Wretched eye strike so they are an unlikely canidate. The Devils probably wont be able to push back into the cosmodrome since they're already weak and most are probably trying to hold out in the Plague Lands or other parts of Earth. That leaves us (Finally), the fallen House of Kings, or possibilities of other races/factions. Seeing we won't find out till Destiny 2, I say it's a good chance of us finally reclaiming the Cosmodrome. We have to reclaim parts of Earth at some point, right? We weakened everything greatly in the Cosmodrome already. Don't see why we can't take over yet. Also if we took over there wouldn't be a rehashed Cosmodrome in Destiny 2. Then there's the House of Kings. They are set up in the Cosmodrome as well, but not very much. We don't know what they're planning but when they find out the Cosmodrome is up for the taking I bet they'll make an assault on it. My last guess, aside from the minor chances of the Hive or Fallen, would actually be the Cabal. I know what your thinking, but there's always a chance. I don't think the Cabal are to happy we took out all their commanders in our system, so they may strike us directly, seeing they've been from Mars to Meurcury there is a chance. Hopefully in the process they blow up our moon as well, I don't want it back. Also Is like tos we how they operate in, more snowy, wooded and mountainous terrain. What do you guys think?
