Legit prob: quest not available, yet Bungie.net says "Go to Speaker"(been 4 days)

It's been 4 days and I have a legit problem with the Refer A Friend quest that I can't seem to solve thru FAQ/Forum the facts: -Bungie.net says "visit Speaker in the tower to start questline Tale of Two Gaurdians" -Nothing avalilbe for me(been 4 days), no green diamond, no quest -Bungie.net says my friend, Biggiesmalls, must visit speaker -Biggie already did visit speaker and already DOES have quest -Biggie sees link icon on his and my emblem on his screen, I do not see link icon on my screen -If he signs into Bungie.net it says he must complete 1st step and I must complete 1st step -Bungie.net tells Biggie I am his linked friend and tells me Biggie is my linked friend, yet I cannot get quest -I tried to hit REMOVE REFERRAL to send new one, screen popped up saying that was "Not allowed" it apears we ARE linked but somehow out of synch. I don't understand why it's telling me Biggie needs to visit the Speaker to get the quest when he already has the quest or why it's telling him I need to do the 1st step when I don't even have the quest yet. how can I get the quest to appear for me? why does only he see link icon and not both of us? it's been 4 days I just want to do this quest with my friend but instead we've been wasting our time trying to unglitch this. FAQs don't address this problem and forums tried to help but can't Bungie if your listening please help. Thank you Scratch 6V6

  • Hello, I have been informed that this issue has since been resolved. Please visit the Speaker in the Tower to receive the "A Tale of Two Guardians" Quest and begin the Refer-a-Friend promotion with your Referee. Thank you for your patience.

    • Hello, Thank you for your report. First off, do not under any circumstances attempt to remove or restart your Refer-a-Friend Link with your Referee. I can confirm for you that you are correctly Linked, however it appears that your Link is not yet complete. This may occur when a player's licenses are not being properly recognized by their console. To attempt to address this issue, you may wish to try restoring your platform licenses.
