I honestly want to know how many people believe Bungie has NOTHING to do with who wins or loses a match. As though they don't give you the same advantage as someone who uploads youtube videos or streams on twitch . Like honestly, do I have to remind myself 'I must've not been good enough' when I spawn in front of someone already aiming at my head with a sniper? Or walking up to me casually with a shotgun? Or do I have to hope to the RNG gods that my melee works at all a certain match. Maybe it's the fact that when I aim at someone perfectly with my handcannon and the bullet doesn't do damage, but I'll quickly get mowed down by tlw where every bullet hits (*if the user is rng lucky, usually he is if he's using that gun in the first place right? I'm not, I try my best not to gamble or rely on luck for anything. No lotto tickets for me please.) I just find it hard to believe I can join a match where I'm not completely dominating the enemy with headshots through walls, two shot hawkmoon consistently, nova bomb killing at least 2 people with each use in a game with what seems to be a huge luck when they're no where near the bomb, insane shotgun range, and then all of a sudden I stand no chance, if I'm lucky enough to spawn in, rngesus is like 'hehe, your shotgun is a peashooter' or I'll melee someone and just literally tickle their face, if it's a team based game, best believe my back is hurting, the matches with teams do not even come close. I have NEVER experienced anything like this, the amount of bullshit that just escalates SO QUICKLY from one match to another is just unreal, in any other game, it'll take a couple of matches for the 'tilt' to set in, but Destiny, nope, I believe strongly it's not tilt. Edit: this is getting a lot more attention than I thought it would. Let it be known Bungie has lied about their matchmaking settings so blatantly that honestly, any 'crackpot conspiracy theory' could be true. Edit: Made a titan, tried out crucible, and level advantages were disabled. So I just decided to die by 2 shots from hand cannons, yes, I decided I needed to die to 2 shots, that's what I said, that's what I wanted to happen, so I just let it happen. I actually had fun for my first match as a level 3 titan though. Knew I was going to lose and just said '-blam!- It' so I went as ham as I could not being a streaming level 40 : ) Edit: I could be wrong in thinking that they are sabotaging games with an algorhythm based off w/l stats or even k/d. If that was the case, I would've imagined they kept things like the blink strike from behind in the face that would happen WAAAAY too much. That was a true rng algorythm for disaster imo. Maybe the game they made is just really bad, and they're ACTUALLY trying to fix it. Nah. Let's just wait for Destiny 2. Edit: Lowered titan's shield after getting sniped by felwinter's decided to get my revenge by self rezzing right next to him, lucky me, my melee didn't kill him c: I assumed after that it was his turn to win, lucky me, I was right, you start becoming good at figuring out who won at the beginning of a match once you start realizing the shit bungie thinks make up a good game. Edit: me when I see someone play Destiny "Oh you play Destiny too?? Yes, I guess you can say I play poker as well, sometimes I get a royal flush, other times I get nothing. Edit: my voidwalker ram, max armour has stopped tanking shoulder charges. I see they 'patched' things besides their -blam!-ed up matchmaking 'competitive' setting. Oh well. I bought a new game. I've been into it a lot. Bloodborne anyone? Rarely touched Destiny. Looking for something to make me forget my bad addiction because Destiny isn't even good anymore.
