A message to the Webteam (that's not going to be noticed, at all).

Wow, just wow. I joked about this (Destiny account being mandatory across the whole mains) becoming a thing ever since Bungie first started on this path, but never thought the webteam would actually do it. You can refute this as much as you want, but it's still going to be an objectively correct statement, no matter how you look at it. Somebody screwed up. What this essentially does, is force potential customers who go onto the forums to see what's up, to go somewhere else. It's also making a lot of veteran fans who still haven't played Destiny, including some of the Site Volunteers, unable to post anything. What was implied in 2013 has now been practically blared through a Megaphone. "We don't care, because we're better than you, now buy our stuff." It's a travesty that such a community-focused company has been polarized in such a short amount of time. I strongly suggest you change it back, not for my sake, but the millions of people who played a foundational role in this Community, and the potential millions of people still to join. All the best in your future endeavors, everybody, but I don't see any good coming of this site update.
