Disagree. Adding new weapon types and additional archetypes would be fine for PVE, but think of the additional weapon balance issues for PVP. Besides, how many types of auto rifle do you need? Fast, less fast, medium fast, medium, medium slow, slow medium, and medium? This game has more weapons than I know what to do with. New exotics are fine, nothing else is really needed.

I think they should definitely disconnect PvP and PvE weapons from each other. I don't think it's too much trouble to have a gear set that's good for Crucible and one that's good for strikes. Also, while I understand you seem overwhelmed, I myself am underwhelmed by the selection. They really do all feel like the same gun with mostly the same perks, so yes, I would like to have all those different kinds of auto rifles just like in any other FPS game. Another point on balancing was acknowledged in the film by simply working on the time to kill rate which is basically what they seem to be doing to all other guns in the game already.

  • I'm also by in the business of short changing the game because I think it would be easier on the developers. We are customers and they want our business. The game can be better so we should feel open to making suggestions and requests. In return, we will continue to patronize their products.
