Destiny is Destiny whether it's on xbox 360, One, ps3, or ps4. They have already made it clear that they want to go next gen and have taken a lot from us already, but the app really? Players still need the app no matter what gen we are on. Plus really letting us keep the app should be insignificant to them in their grand scheme of their 100 (exaggeration) year plan.

It's like they have made it even harder for legacy players to keep going. Which to me is crap, and not reasonable.

Edited by Quarantane : 8/19/2016 11:33:41 PMI thought they had mentioned they were still going to support the legacy players until destiny 2 at one point, but I guess either I'm wrong or bungie changed their mind and said screw them

From what I've been hearing they are not going to do many more updates for legacy. I was just meaning that they are going to put everything on next gen from here on out, leaving us old gens in the dust.

I can understand that, the old gen hardware had reached its limit, or so they say. I can believe that, and I understand it and have no issue with that. But I don't see why they can't at the very least leave the app accessible for legacy consoles, or leave it as it was and develop a 'companion app 2.0' for roi and future updates to the game. That's my opinion
